Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challenges—I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell us which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

Good Luck!

  1. Oh it’s definitely the LittleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit!! My son is obsessed with R2-D2 and with building things. This toy would be the perfect mix of his two favorite loves. I didn’t even know about it until I went through the prize lists you have. This is an amazing toy! It looks like it would be full of creativity, learning to build different ways, and hours of fun! I can’t stress enough how I love that you can actually build R2-D2 and he works, plays and moves. He’s incredible! He would be able to program it to guard his bedroom from his big sister and bring him little toys and such. It’s amazing!

  2. I love them all, the most star wars the better haha I personally love the AR jedi challenges. I would spend all bloody day playing that lol ive always wanted to be a jedi!

  3. My boys would love the littlebits star wars droid inventor kit! And I would too 🙂
It looks like a lot of fun!

  4. I grew up watching Start Wars, and always dreamed of having my own droid, so naturally my pick would be the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid. Who wouldn’t want to engage with their own droid and have it follow you around! Dreams would come true that is for sure!

  5. I grew up watching Start Wars, and always dreamed of having my own droid, so naturally my pick would be the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid. Who wouldn’t want to engage with their own droid and have it follow you around! Dreams would come true that is for sure!

  6. I would love to have the Littlebits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit to give to my son. He loves to build, and desperately wants to build his own robot, and I know he would absolutely love this. This would be a perfect kit for him to start on, and it looks exactly like what I’m looking for to get him for Christmas.

  7. My favorite would have to be the Propel X-wing drone simply because I love flying drones and I love Star Wars! A better match there cannot be!

  8. i love starwars i am 42 and on the 20 dec will turn 43 i got some collection of starwars unleashed figures and some orther stuff that i collect from starwars universe i got 5 kids and all my kids love starwars it is a familly thing!would realy love to win LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES to have the experience of being a true jedi and also to make all my familly try this cool experience of having the FORCE of a jedi! this is my dream to win that Ultimate prize and will focus on the force to have the chance to bring that to my home thanx and at the same time that would be a perfect birtday present for a true fan .

  9. Do I have to pick just one?! They are all so awesome! I think I’d have to go with the Jedi Challenges though. It would bring me back to my youth days when practicing my lightsaber skills with a sawed-off broomstick out in my back yard.

  10. Id love the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon
Ive always wanted a VR head set and also to fake battle with a light saber how awesome is that?

  11. Little Bits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit….My nephew loves to build and invent different..To watch him is fascinating and fun..This would be so great for him..

  12. My favourite would definitely be the tie drone. The reason its my favourite is my nephews reaction. I have a 4 yr old nephew who is obsessed with Star Wars. He runs around the house pretending to Kyli Ren or a stormtrooper. He pretends shooting everything, or pueing as he says. I showed him a video of a tie drone and he lost his marbles. He immediately ran up to daddy and said he needed santa to bring him one.
I would love to win this prize so I could makes his dream come true and we could fly a tie fighter together.

  13. SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID because well its the closest I will ever have to a real R2.

  14. My favorite would be the SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID. Ever since I first saw ROTJ at the drive in when I was 5 years old C3PO and R2D2 have been my favorite characters in the STAR WARS Saga. Never before had an object incapable of human emotion and speech been so able to communicate what it was experiencing through blips and whirrs and be universally understood. My house is littered with R2D2 Memorabilia and adding that item to my droid collection would finally make my journey to the dark side complete… er, I mean, it would make my collection complete (who said anything about the DARK SIDE???).

  15. First of all, how the heck can I choose just one? THEY ARE ALL AWESOME! Star Wars and their droids have been a favorite in my family where Star Wars is annually watched and enjoyed by everyone. But if I have to choose, I would choose “littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit” – what an incredible way to work on it as a family with my hubby and two young sons. It’ll give them great skills but also have a lot of fun – while watching a Star Wars MOVIE! Eeek too EXCITED!

  16. The X-Wing would be awesome. Who doesn’t want to fly one of those? The kids and I would make a model trench run. The kids… yeah…

  17. This wouldn’t be for me, its would be for my boys. I have two boys who are the best of buddies at the age of 16 and 3, who have a mother ( me) who doesn’t understand the why. They sit together, and bound over these movies and its amazing to me to watch them become submersed in it. I wont lie, I don’t get it.. but I do love watching them love it. I know, and can promise you, these would be used as they were intended, probably unto the point where I send them to one of their rooms to play but… they will play. Awesome give away, it will bring the force to one lucky home.

  18. Realistically any prize would be awesome. My preference would be Prize A. Have a four year old that is just starting to love the star wars world not to mention the big kid in me that would love it all 🙂 Would love the jedi challenges. looks awesome.

  19. The R2D2 interactive toy would be my goto pick because I know of one special person I would give this too. My special friend is a person who loves Star wars and this is his favourite character. We are approaching the holiday season and having the ability to share a gift like this with the ones that I love most in the world would be the best prize of all. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Have a wonderful day!

  20. Who would’nt want to be a Jedi? Its my dream since I first saw Star Wars as a kid with my dad. If I cant have the real thing the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES is the closest thing to it! I’d love to do the training and of course fight the sith!

  21. There are so many to choose. I would love the R2D2 app enabled droid, I have the original R2D2 remote control from 1980 (guesstimate) and would like to continue the tradition on with my daughter. She loves Stormtroopers but R2D2 is a close second. Together with our old and new R2D2’s and all the other toys we will rule the galaxy.. Who is kidding who she will rule the galaxy and I will be her C3PO. I think she leans to the darkside a bit 🙂 Please pick us 🙂 I have gone to the website a thousand times and even got to the Cart Checkout lol

  22. I love R2D2. He is cute and has an edge to him, he solves problems, attacks bad guys, and in general is bad a$$ !

  23. I would love to win the Sphero Star Wars BB-9E! My BB8 is feeling a little lonely and it would loveee the company of another BB unit! Plus it would be a ton of fun for my cat to chase around 2 BB units instead of just 1!

  24. My favourite would be the Android controlled BB8 because my son loves BB8-we will have loads of fun playing that together.

  25. I love the Littlebits droid inventor kits……my son loves to build and the creative possibilities, coupled with the awesome features\effects would be awesome!

  26. My favourite prize is definitely the VTECH STAR WARS STRMTROOPER SMRTWTCH. The boring reason why I love it so much is that I need a new watch. The fantastic reason is that I would be the coolest around the house being able to play activities and trigger lightsaber effects when I want the kid’s attention!

  27. Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon I would love to win to give it to my daughter Lisa she has purchased many sabers and has dressed up as a Jedi and put on shows with others for sick kids. My sister even made a cape for her. I have photos to prove this. Lisa knows everything Star Wars and seen every movie. Any of the prizes would be great. By the way she was in a scene for a movie.

  28. I’d love to win the UB Tech Stormtrooper because the idea of having an actual stormtrooper following your commands just sounds awesome. At least I wouldn’t have to worry about it actually hitting anyone!

  29. UB Tech Stormtrooper…I’ve always loved troopers and would love to have one walking around the house…wouldnt need an alarm system anymore!

  30. I would love to win the droid inventor kit because it’s fun to build models, and I know my nephew would find this prize awesome!

  31. What Star Wars toy wouldn’t be a favourite. Jedi Challenges would have to top the list. Everyone named Rey needs to need to learn the way of the Jedi and take on Kylo Ren.!

  32. I love the droids, BB8 for sure, as I went to see the original Star Wars in 1977 R2D2 was one of the best characters. Yes I would love to win one of the prizes.

  33. I love the PROPEL SW X WING DRONE CLR ED. My favorite ship in the movie since day 1. I used to have the toy when I was a kid and I remember flying it all over the house and outside. It would be so cool to fly a “real” one outside now 🙂

  34. The UBTECH Storm Trooper is my favorite. Who would not want to be able to control their own Storm Trooper. Also it would be great to have to walk around and play with my dog, not sure what my dog would do but would be fun.

  35. Jedi challenges because who doesn’t want to be a Jedi. . And because we never had these cool toys as a kid.

  36. Prize “A”. My son played with the BB8 at Fan Expo and adored it. R2D2 was one of the first things he could clearly say, and this year we are doing a family Star Wars Halloween…to say Star Wars is prevalent in our home would be an understatement.

  37. Would love to win Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone as it would be a hit for Christmas!

  38. So awesome! I’d love to win the BB8! It would be so much fun to roll it around the house. I’d probably end up tormenting my cat, but too bad! Star Wars FTW!

  39. I love the idea of the augmented reality Jedi Challenges – and I know both my boys (young and old) will too! But the one *I* would look forward to most is the R2D2 app-enabled droid. I want to watch Star Wars and have it reacting beside me!!! How awesome is that?
