Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

  3. My favourite one has to be the R2-D2 app controlled (Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid ). Being a true fan, it can’t get better than having your own R2-D2!!!

  4. I’d love the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit! My two kids are star wars fanatics, and I’d love them to explore robotics by building pretty much the coolest little droid ever 🙂 (and maybe they can teach him to clean up the house?)

  5. I would love the UB Tech Storm Trooper. Just think how cool it would be to have a one of the First Order patrolling my home and looking for AWOL rebels. I love Star Wars and as much as it pains me to say this…..I believe I am a SITH! I would give it all kinds of voice commands and have it battle my kids!

  9. I am a huge Star Wars fan! I grew up watching it and it reminds me of my childhood. I love the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges because you can actually fight with a lightsaber and a close second is the Sphere Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid because he is my absolute favourite! I plan on being R2-D2 for halloween next year!

  13. The UB Tech Stormtrooper is my favourite. My three year old son loves Star Wars and stormtroopers are where it’s at in his eyes. So, I like that UB Tech Stormtrooper allows for interaction between the robot and the controller. That’s pretty cool.

  14. The Ub tech stormtroopper would be my favourite because when the machine overlords rise up and control the world. I would safe from the stormtrooper cause they can’t aim. So I would have a fighting chance to surive the first wave of toys. All the other toys especially the driods I will not surive when the overlords command them to enslave us cause the driods are real big ass kickers in the movies and that would make me a dead man. I can’t out run the drones too so they will enslave me as well. All the gadets will be used against me. But the stormtrooper I can easliy take while he always misses his mark. He or she stormtrooper I can destory and being building the resistance against the machine overlords to win back our earth and freedom!

  15. My favourite would be the Propel Star Wars TIE Fighter Advanced Battling Quadcopter Drone. I would get to fly Darth Vader’s Tie Fighter around. How cool would that be!

  17. R2-Q5, a little droid with a dark side. I love his colours and and would love to watch star wars with him beside me just to hear what he might have to say! I think he might just fit in great with our family

  19. In prize pack a i love the Sphero BB-9E, why because when Force Awakens came out I was amazed by the technology and psychics behind creating bb-8! The fact that they can mange to shift the center mass of the object from the contact point so it gives some torque, which then allows the angular momentum of the sphere o move and roll was pretty incredible to see on the big screen. I remember my brother as a child building robots so it fascinates me that this was an actual robot 😀

  24. LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES is definitely my favorite! Not only does “Best Buy” provide latest and greatest selection in home entertainment technology but “Best Buy” are also huge Star Wars fans! What is there not to really like about “Best Buy”? I have been the hugest Star Wars fan ever since day I watched it in the theater for the 1st time in 1977, I was 7 years old at the time. Anyone that knows me would tell you that I am the most devoted Star Wars fan from childhood to the present. For example, I already have tickets to go see Star Wars “The Last Jedi” (Thursday Night) 14, December, 2017! Oh Yeah, bring it!!! I will be 48 years old this 07 Nov. and what awesome timing and a surprise it would be to receive the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES. Not only would it be entertaining, but it will help improve my Jedi / Sith skills and protect my Princess (my wife Debbie) and our 2 Ewok’s (my 2 Jack Russell’s).

  30. Even as a young boy I loved the ATAT huge camel thing that attacks the rebel base on Hoth snow planet. I would love to win this prize so i can share with my son who is 8. He is also a huge star wars fan.

  34. TIE fighter because it’s a whole lot of kick ass in a small package. The roaring Ion engines, the sweet pilot suit and of course its ability to maneuver around star destroyers while kicking some Republic butt. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that action in your back yard or flying around the house bothering your little brother. You rebel scum…

  35. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid would be my favourite to win! This reminds me of a toy robot that my sister own years ago – we had so much fun with that toy and I always wanted one of my own! I am a huge star wars fan, so having the star wars themed robot would just make this fantastic toy even better! As well, BB8 is my nephews favourite character, so I think we would have a lot of fun with this!

  42. From a galaxy far far away R2D2 stole my heart so to win Sphero’s R2D2 would make me so happy. Oh the things we could do – we could explore the Star ships and the MILLENNIUM FALCON, we could watch my favorite movies and I can see first hand his reactions and I would love to watch him interact with his friends – those beeps, boops and whistles would be a most welcome noise. This is the droid I have been searching for – he is my favorite. 😀
