LG has created a new premium phone, the G8x, that raises the bar for what a smartphone can be. It has two screens: the one that accompanies the regular phone and another screen in its case: click the phone in the case and suddenly your phone becomes a multi-tasking wonder machine. Additionally, it has one feature that most of us hated to lose on other new premium phones: a headphone jack! You may be wondering how much use you would get out of two screens on a phone. Personally, I think it’s life changing. Face it: we look at phones more than we look at our partners. So, a dual screen phone gives us twice as much to look at. You can watch “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” on one screen and answer texts on the other. You can have the game on one screen and the controller can be on the other. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

  15. Right now I use my tablet for split screening…mostly to have my playbook open for reading an article and another app where I read the Bible..This would be awesome to replace that!   16. I have a LG G6 and still work great for me,when I heard this new features LG G8X with dual screen I said this is the great solution of my web browsing and texting message at the same time without flipping web pages also good for gaming with a wider screen.
    Great work LG always continue this good idea for smart phones.

  17. I would use this phone to replace my tablet. I use 2 screens to compare while shopping, while studying & reading the Bible and I’m sure many other opportunities will present themselves as I use it

  22. If I had this phone is be scrolling social media/ texting on one side and playing games on the other. But if I’d won this I’d give it to someone I know who really really wants this new phone.

  26. I would use the phone during my transit commute to simultaneously catch up with my favorite YouTube podcasts and Netflix shows on one screen while keeping track of my commute with Google Maps on the other so I don’t miss my connection!

  42. This is amazing technology – I can’t believe how far we’ve come. I’d definitely watch a screen to not miss my favourite shows and communicate on the other to respond to messages. Multitasking at its best.

  49. I would optimize the dual screen for all my research and clarification inquires … so many times I wish I had two screens so I could compare or see both bits of info.

  50. I showed this to my daughter and she thought it would be a brilliant device to have at school – you could have your research running on one side and be problem solving with fellow students on the other side – I would love to gift it to her to help her with her classes.
