Could your home use another security camera? Perhaps you don’t have any yet, so then the answer might definitely be YES! Even if you have a few, could you find a place to put another one? Enter this contest and you might win a fantastic new smart home camera from ezviz. Your home would then be on its way to becoming more secure in minutes.

How many cameras do you want around your home? My answer to this question is probably 6—and I am half-way there. I have one on my carport looking down the driveway, one by my front door and one by my back door. But that is not enough for me. I’d like one so I can see my garden shed, and one overlooking my vegetable stand. Both of these are not visible from my home so cameras would ensure that I can keep an eye on them no matter if I am home, or at work or wherever.

I also don’t have any inside my home; my wife is not too keen on cameras in the house. There are many good reasons to have one in the house (for example, to watch the pets when you’re not home) but she prefers to keep the cameras outside. I think her “no cameras in the house” outlook might change if I bought the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator with its 3 cameras inside so you can see the food without opening the door, and see what’s missing while shopping. Of course that is a whole different type of camera—extremely cool though! 1. I think I would need a minimum of 6 cameras in order to have all access points to my home covered. 2 in front, 2 in back and 2 on shed and on the back gate.

  2. 3 Cameras would help me keep an eye on our small apartment and our storage locker that has been broken into recently!

  3. Three would do it for me. One outside our courtyard gate, one at the front door and one inside pointing at the front door.

  4. I would need at least 3. One covering front yard. One covering side yard. And one covering back yard. 4 would be better though!

  5. I’d need at least 4 to cover the back & side yards, as well as the front of the house where our neighbours had their car stolen from!

  6. I would think 4 cameras would do nicely in helping secure our place. We’d place one looking down the main hallway, one overlooking our living room, and one each looking out the front & back doors of our house. They may not protect our home per se, but our understanding is the vast majority of break & enter are by people well known by police, therefore a picture of the culprits is the best way to (hopefully) get our property back…

  7. I think I’d only need 3 outside, one to monitor the front door and garage area and one at the back and another on the side of the garage which is near a public walk way.

  8. I would love to have 6 cameras to monitor my home and detached shop as we live very rural and don’t have as much security!

  9. I would want sufficient number of cameras for complete coverage of my property. I’ve had my house burglerized and having cameras would help with the police investigations and insurance claims process.

  10. I would love 4 outside to cover both the front and back property and 2 inside – one upstairs and one downstairs.

  11. I would love to have at least 3 cameras – one outside to monitor our garage door/rear door entry (the rear door is directly beside the garage, so close enough for one camera); one outside our front gate/door area; and one inside on the lower level of our home to monitor what our cat is up to when we are not home. He tends to eat things he shouldn’t (our vet says he is the most dog-like cat she’s ever seen!), so it would be nice to have the camera to check on him. We have cat-proofed as much as possible, but then if our daughter accidentally leaves a hair-tie out, for example, he goes for it!!

  12. 6 to monitor the outsides of my house as well as one inside to stop my daughters boyfriend from sneaking in.

  13. I would need 4 cameras outside to view on each side of the home and 2 cameras for inside to capture my adult foster kids when I’m not around. One has autism and the other can have seizures and even though fully independent adults under my minimal care, I worry all the time.

  14. I would love 3 outdoor cameras to monitor the entrances to my home. And 3 cameras inside the entrances.

  15. I would need at least 3 cameras around our house, so that I can keep watch on my gardens, garden sheds and front yard.

  16. I would love to have a few cameras outside and inside. The ones outside to monitor the baby barns and garage. The ones inside, especially the 3 house entry points.

  17. I’d really like one of the cameras for our front yard as it’s impossible to see who’s at the door unless they stand way back on the step.

  18. I would need 4 cameras outside to view on each side of the home and 2 cameras for inside to capture uninvited people when I’m not home

  19. 4 cameras would be nice. Front and back doors, driveway and garden shed. There have been a few break-ins on our street lately
