Nintendo Switch 2

With Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo will launch the much-anticipated sequel to its smash hit console in June 2025 with a newer take on design. The 7.9-inch LCD is a notable boost in size and resolution, starting out at 1080p HD and moving up to 4K when docked and connected to a TV. New Joy-Con 2 controllers magnetically attach to the console and serve multiple uses, including acting as a mouse or pointer for certain games.
Better processing and graphics power, plus 256GB of storage, should give the Nintendo Switch 2 a boost in performance across the board. It doesn’t hurt that better speakers and spatial audio are also in the mix. A slew of games is set to come out for Nintendto Switch 2 in 2025, making this one of the biggest gaming launches of the year.
Garmin vivoactive 6

Garmin smartwatches come in various designs and the vivoactive 6 is an entry-level model that offers excellent value based on everything it offers. The 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen is easy to see indoors or outdoors. Its enhanced built-in GPS support lets you track exercises like running or hiking.
With Garmin Coach, enjoy guided cardio or strength training routines to get you into better shape. Working with both iPhone and Android, it also tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep tracking for an all-day assessment of where you stand.
Insta360 X5 waterproof 8K

I would consider the Insta360 X5 waterproof 8K action camera a fun part of any adventure. Larger image sensors and better optics can lead to clearer results day or night, which is all the more important given this camera can record in 8K or 4K at 360-degrees. You can also opt to only record from one side.
It’s probably too big to mount on a helmet, putting your creativity to the test when using it. That’s the idea anyway, considering just how much the dual cameras can capture around you. So, if immersive video is what you have in mind, then this is a great choice. Plus, if a lens is damaged for any reason, Insta360 offers a repair kit (sold separately) to replace it with a new lens.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE sports a nice 10.9-inch screen with 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection. What’s nice is that Samsung includes the S Pen in the box, letting you take notes, draw, sketch, or edit photos with more precision. There’s nothing particularly new about the pen though newer AI features like Circle to Search and Handwriting Help can feel different because of it.
The Google Play Store offers various creative apps to experiment further. I would describe this as more of a multitasking tablet in that you can use it to consume content anytime, while also creating your own.
Google Pixel 9a

Not every capable phone has to cost a lot, and that’s the beauty of Google’s Pixel A series. The Google Pixel 9a is the kind of excellent budget-friendly smartphone I recommend because it does the key things right: It takes excellent photos, runs smoothly, lasts a little longer, and offers a multitude of useful AI features. To top it off, Google guarantees seven years’ worth of Android and security updates.
It’s rare for a more affordable phone to share so much of what’s available on more expensive flagships, but that’s exactly what’s going on here.
TCL QD-Mini LED TV

My own experience with TCL TVs tells me they are good value all around. These particular ones come in two variants—the QM6K and QM7K series—both of which use the company’s QD-Mini LED technology. That means an increased number of LEDs in the rear and more granular brightness control, so content pops a little more without blooming too much.
With HDR3000, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced support, plus Google TV and voice control built-in, there’s a lot to like off the bat. These TVs also cater to gamers by way of a 144Hz native refresh rate and Game Accelerator mode that can take that up to a 240Hz variable refresh rate.
Ninja Creami Swirl ice cream maker

Warmer weather can increase those ice cream cravings. What if you could just make it yourself? That’s what the Ninja CREAMi Swirl aims to do, even giving you the option on what you want to make. Ice cream, gelato, soft serve, sorbet—all are possible here. Even better, you can make your own creations using the ingredients you want, or follow directions and recipes provided from Ninja. Whether you plan on using it on a seasonal basis or satisfy those cravings year-round, this is the kind of appliance you want to maximize when using it.
ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 video card

I’ve seen what the NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards are capable of. The ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 is one of the premium ones you can install in your PC. With 16GB of GDDR7 memory and a 30Gbps clock speed, it’s built to support ultra high-resolution content, higher framerates, and smoother processing.
That’s great news for gamers who demand the best hardware for a competitive edge, but content creators can also do things with this card not possible before. That includes editing video from multiple feeds at once, or utilizing advanced AI features that need the extra jolt of power to deliver.
