Some adults get almost as excited as kids during the holidays. I don’t see anything wrong with this. Some of my best memories were created during the month of December. After all it’s a time to look forward to family and friends visiting, wonderful meals and fancy holiday baking. Of course there are also the gift exchanges. Gift giving is fun; gift receiving is just as fun. The best part is the anticipation: a wrapped gift is a mysterious, box of possibilities. You never know how your life will be affected by the contents of each little box. This Best Buy video does a great job of capturing that excitement:

 

In my house we guess before opening each gift. My kids have become quite adept at putting the clues together (like size and weight of the package) to raise their guessing accuracy. I can still stump them from time to time, and that’s all part of the fun. For me the thrill is in knowing that I have purchased items that they will use and may even make their lives more interesting.

Best Buy is going to bring some of that fun and excitement to you with this contest.  Here are three sets of clues for three mystery gifts. They are not too hard; we aren’t trying to make it too hard for you to figure out what is hidden under the Christmas paper. Read the description of the person receiving this gift, then use the clues to arrive at a guess. The clues may be about the gift itself, or about how the person’s life will change after they unwrap their present. If you correctly guess what is inside each wrapped box, you might win that prize. So read each set of clues, then follow the instructions to enter your guesses. If your guess is correct, you might win it!

How to enter:

This contest is really easy to enter. Read the clues for each of the three gifts shown above.  In a comment below on this blog post, enter one guess. You allowed to leave one comment for each gift, for a total of 3 guesses in 3 separate comments.

Facebook bonus guesses: Go to the Facebook contest post, and in 3 separate comments you can enter your 3 guesses there too.

That means you can enter a maximum of six (6) times: 3 guesses on the blog, and 3 guesses on Facebook. 

What you can win

For each gift, we will randomly select three entries containing a correct guess from all eligible comments entered here on the blog and on Facebook (for a total of 9 winners). I can’t tell you here exactly what they will win (that would spoil the surprise!). I can tell you that these 9 people will win the gift that they guessed. There will also be grand prize: one person will win all 3 gifts plus a Best Buy gift certificate for $500.

This contest will run from December 8th until December 17th.

  13. Well if i follow the 1st clue my answer would be the Bellabeat LEAF fitness tracker bc of its weight. A single feather ways about 0.008g and the bellabeat is the closest in weight but does not monitor the heartbeat as it was claimed in the second clue. So i will disregard the weight clue and give an answer solely based on what the gift was intended for(running, calories, steps and heartbeat)…..Fitbit or Garmin vivosmart. 😉 ***Also you might want to review the filters on your website. For some reason, when selecting “running” as the intended sports use it illiminates Fitbit as a possible option even though the details & specs of the navy blue fitbit says “Yes” for “running tracking”. Hope this helps!  

  24. According to your website Keurig offers nearly 100 different types of tea and coffees. But their k-kups are also supported by Cuisinart and Berville. But i will stick with the Keurig as my final answer. 🙂
