This year at CES 2024, ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) are bringing us a new line of monitors designed for productivity, gaming, content creation, and entertainment. This new lineup comes with OLED technology, fast refresh rates, foldable, and wearable displays. Here are the new ASUS and ROG monitors presented at CES 2024.
ROG Swift OLED monitors
ASUS and ROG have a new lineup consisting of three Swift OLED gaming monitors. The ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM is a 39-inch ultrawide gaming monitor that comes with a resolution of 3440 x 1440, a refresh rate of 240Hz, and a 800R-curved OLED display. The ROG Swift PG39WCDM comes equipped with Smart KVM allowing for seamless control of two devices with one keyboard and mouse. For connectivity, the PG39WCDM comes with USB 3.2, DisplayPort™, HDMI® 2.1, and USB-C with 90W Power Delivery.
The Swift OLED PG32UCDP, it’s the world’s first dual-mode gaming monitor with a Frame Rate Boost feature allowing the monitor to switch between 4K 240Hz and FHD 480Hz. This makes the PG32UCDP incredibly flexible, being able to adapt to all your gaming needs. Finally, with native refresh rates up to 480Hz the Swift OLED PG27AQDP is the world’s fastest 27-inch OLED monitor.
All of the Swift OLED displays feature third-generation ROG OLED display and META technologies. This means that the Swift lineup delivers 30% higher peak brightness at 1300 nits, and 20% wider viewing angles. The Swift monitors come with DisplayHDR™ True Black 400 compliance, and Clear Pixel Edge algorithm providing stunning visuals with reduced color fringing. These monitors also come with Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology, AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, and incredibly fast 0.03ms response times. This results in images that are crisp, clear, and tear-free.
ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH
The ASUS ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH is the world’s first foldable portable OLED monitor. It features a 17.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1920) foldable display with a waterdrop-style hinge creating a gapless fold. The ZenScreen Fold provides unparalleled portability. It weighs a mere 1.17Kg and has a profile of just 9.7mm when fully opened. The screen of the ZenScreen Fold is DisplayHDR True Black 500-compliant and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut creating images that have true to life visuals with amazing contrast. The ZenScreen has versatile connectivity options including mini HDMI and dual USB-C ports.
ASUS AirVision M1 wearable display
The ASUS AirVision M1 Wearable Display is a full multi-monitor viewing experience packed into a pair of glasses. The Micro OLED displays have a resolution of 1920 x 1080p, a peak brightness of 1100 nits, and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The AirVision M1 gives users an impressive level of control over the virtual display. Users have 3 Degrees of Freedom (3DoF) positioning allowing them to pin the screen at specific locations. Users can also generate multiple virtual screens in 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 formats in either portrait or landscape orientations.
The AirVision M1 glasses have a touchpad on the left temple. This allows users to make adjustments to brightness, screen pinning, and select different modes. The AirVision M1 also comes with noise-canceling microphones and speakers making them ideal for video calls.
