With Valentine’s Day around the corner, you might be wondering what to get your loved one if you’ve decided to exchange gifts. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, practical gift, you can’t go wrong with the Amazon Kindle eReader. Not only is it the perfect gift idea for anyone who loves to read, but it’s also a great present for anyone who wants to rekindle their reading habit. Read on to learn how to personalize your gift, then enter for a chance to win one.
Open up a new world of possibilities for your loved one
Owning a Kindle eReader is like having access to the world’s largest library at your fingertips. Does your partner like to read fiction books and biographies? With a Kindle eReader, you can give them both, and more! Thousands of ebooks across all genres are available through the Kindle store. Depending on your local library, your partner might also be able to borrow ebooks online and conveniently read them on their Kindle eReader.
A Kindle eReader is also much lighter and easier to transport than most books. So if one of your partner’s resolutions is to read more this year, an eReader will make it easier for them to achieve that goal. They’ll be able to fit dozens of books in their bag and read while commuting or while waiting for a friend at a coffee shop without carrying much extra weight.
Make your gift special by preloading their favourite books
While a Kindle eReader is a thoughtful gift for any avid or beginner reader, you can go the extra mile and show your partner you care by preloading some of the books they’ve been wanting to read. That way, your loved one will be able to enjoy their gift and dive into a new story right away!
Goodreads is a great resource to find book suggestions, but if you have any recommendations, please share them in the comments section as well to inspire others’ reading lists.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us which book you would preload on the Kindle eReader for your loved one.
- For up to two (2) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) sharing with your friends and followers that you are entering a Best Buy Blog contest for a chance to win a Kindle eReader; include the hashtag #BestBuyKindlecontest, so we can find your post, and include one of the pictures showing on this article. Then return here and tell us in a comment below on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that we can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two winners from all eligible entries to receive an Amazon Kindle eReader.
This contest runs from Jan 31st to Feb 10th.
Remember you can enter up to three times as described above. Make sure to share this contest with anyone who loves to read (and perhaps, even with your partner if you want to send a helpful hint!).
