We have all been spending the last couple of weeks walking everywhere to catch all the Pokémon we can with the new smash hit mobile app, Pokémon Go. August has always been one of my favourite months for new video games as it means a new Madden NFL game is right around the corner, and just as exciting, that game more than any other signifies that the tidal wave of new AAA fall/holiday games has officially begun.  With Overwatch—available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows—Blizzard Entertainment has cast aside the sword and sorcery shtick from which it spawned the uber-successful Warcraft and Diablo series of games. Instead, Overwatch is an accessible and character-based, multiplayer, first-person shooter set in a future where global chaos and tyranny is battled by adventurers, sentient robot ninjas, cyber cowboys, and other assorted misfits of science.
