If I had the Ninja blender, I’d whip up a banana-strawberry smoothie like I used to when my kids were little, with one or two fresh banana and a cup of strawberries I had frozen in advance. My daughter loved this with a splash of milk back then, but now that she is vegan I would substitute cashew milk.

  1. My favourite smoothie is a banana, blueberries, yogurt and ice cubes. I don’t measure so it’s never exactly the same.

  2. Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe
    Blend together :
    1 cup coconut water
    1/2 banana
    2 romaine lettuce leaves
    1/2 cucumber
    1 cup spinach
    1 apple, peeled and chopped

  3. Kale smoothie recipe : Combine 1/2 cup coconut milk, ½ cup water, 2 cups chopped kale, 1 1/2 cups chopped pineapple, and 1 ripe chopped banana in a blender and puree until smooth, about 1 minute, adding more water to reach the desired consistency.

    1 cup fruits (can be frozen or fresh – i usually have berries and banana)
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tbsp hemp seeds
    1 tbsp chia seeds
    Touch of honey to add some sweetness

  5. my smoothie is simple. 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup of almond milk or whatever milk you prefer. 1 tablespoon of chia seed, 1/4 cup of protein powder

    1 Apple
    1/4 juice of lemon
    Handful of fresh basil
    1/2 cup of almond milk
    Serve over ice
    Delish!

  7. Berry Smoothie:
    1 cup (250 mL) Milk
    3/4 cup (180 mL) frozen strawberries
    3/4 cup (180 mL) frozen raspberries
    1/2 cup (125 mL) yogurt – I use whatever flavour I happen to have in the fridge: coconut, blueberry, etc.
    The best thing is the ingredients do not have to be exact.

  8. I’m getting hungry after reading everyone’s smoothies!! Fabulous choices that I will definitely try if I win a little Ninja power! They are definitely better than the kitchen sink smoothies I make-which is anything I happen to have on hand.

  9. My go to smoothie is one with Saskatoon berries, strawberries, bananas, avocado, yogurt, almond milk or regular, chia or flax seed. I’m still using my blender which is 30+ years old so could definintely use an upgrade

  11. Strawberry Mango smoothie made with strawberries ( 2 cups) , mangoes ( 1 cup), almond milk (1.5 cups), tablespoon of chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of hemp protein powder.

  12. My favorite smoothie recipe: 1 banana, handful of frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries & blackberries), vegan protein powder, pineapple juice, flax seeds, chia seeds, and a splash of OJ. SO GOOD!

    – Handful of frozen fruit (Pineapples, strawberries, mango)
    – 1 cup of orange juice

  15. My favorite smoothie recipe is 1/2 frozen banana sliced, 1 cup cashew milk, 2 dates chopped, 1 T cocoa powder, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 T peanut butter, ice. Blend till smooth. I then stir in 1 T crushed flax seeds into the mix and serve. This recipe is very addictive. I crave it every single morning.

    Half alternative milk(any), half water
    Nutritional Meal Replacement Powder – currently using Vega Essentials
    Fiber Mix with flax, chia, etc…
    Frozen Banana or Berries
    Cinnamon

    1 cup of fresh clean filtered water
    1/4 cup of raw honey

    – frozen blueberries and fresh blackberries
    – Vega Essential vanilla or natural protein powder
    – Elderberry extract
    – hemp seeds (if I have on hand)
    – 1/2 almond milk 1/2 water
    – a scoop of BCAAs if I have on hand
