What’s in the Smeg x Porsche collection?

Perfect for car enthusiasts with decked-out garages, the Smeg x Porsche collection available at Best Buy Canada contains three products. Included is Smeg’s 50’s Style Countertop Blender, 50’s Style Electric Kettle, and 2-Slice Toaster, each lacquered in Porsche’s iconic Carrera white. The Porsche Countertop Blender

A perfect balance of aesthetics and utility, the Smeg 50’s Style Countertop Blender delivers both. This 600 watt blender features a durable 1.5L Tritan Renew jar, which is durable, BPA-free, and shatter-resistant. Like the other blenders in this product range, the Porsche version has four manual speeds. It also has three pre-set programs (Smoothie, Green Smoothie, and Ice Crush), and an auto-clean function. It’s perfect for soups, smoothies, frozen drinks, and more.

The Porsche Electric Kettle

Porsche’s 50’s Style Electric Kettle is the perfect addition to your kitchen countertop or coffee bar. Its slick white design melds with almost every style of home decor, and its 1.7L capacity is great for solo use or for hosting guests.

Smeg’s 50’s Style Kettle is designed with a powerful 2400 watt heating element, so your new kettle will be doing laps around your old ones in terms of performance. It has a gentle, soft-opening lid and a 360 degree swivel base. It’s great for tea, hot water, and pour-over coffee.

The 2-Slice Toaster

Finally, the third piece in this collection is a classic 2-slice toaster. The Smeg x Porsche toaster features a simple, lever-based design. It has six browning levels for your toast, plus toggles for bagels, defrosting, and reheating. Its wide, self-centring slots accommodate both home-sliced and store-bought bread.

A bit of history on Smeg and Porsche

Both Smeg and Porsche are legacy brands known for their commitment to design, function, and quality. Their product lines are sleek and glossy, with smooth, curved lines and discerning taste.

Smeg: The product

Smeg is an Italian appliance brand created by Vittorio Bertazzoni (Sr). Founded in 1948, it originally opened as an enamelling and metalworking company, hence the brand’s iconic design. The word “SMEG” stands for “Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla,” describing the company’s original purpose and location.

Smeg moved into producing appliances in the 1950s, and designs its products in Northern Italy to this day. The brand has a long history of designing its products with the help of other industries, and frequently works in collaborations with architects and designers to create just the right “look” for each collection. (Fun fact: The 50’s Style line of small appliances featured in this collection was actually designed in 2014!)

Porsche: The design

Porsche, on the other hand, was founded in 1931 in Germany by Ferdinand Porsche, Adolf Rosenberger, and Anton Piëch. Now operating alongside Volkswagen, Porsche is known for both their high-end consumer cars and their manufacturing dominance on the track. You’ll see the brand on the streets in models like the 911, Taycan, Cayenne, and Macan. (The Macan was Porsche’s best-selling car of 2025, so you’ve likely noticed a lot of them recently!)

Porsche is also known for their European Delivery Program. The program, which is offered at a cost, allows Porsche customers to purchase a new Porsche in Canada, then fly to Germany to tour Porsche’s factory, museum, and grounds. There, the new owners have lunch in Porsche’s VIP rooms, stay overnight in a partner hotel, and pick up their Porsche to drive around Europe. At the end of the trip, they drop the car back off with the brand, and the brand ships it back home to North America. It’s a unique experience—and all from the brand that just released your new favourite toaster, too.

Unfortunately, Smeg offers no such program to take your Porsche x Smeg blender across Europe with you. However, Best Buy does offer free shipping on all of these products!
