oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. My grandparents have been feeling really bored during the lockdown, so I would love to show them the amazing experiences you can have from home with VR 🙂

  2. I’ve been interested in VR and would love to get a chance to see what all the hype is about the quest! Looks to be highly entertaining and innovative! I would surely use it for a new way to enjoy movies and play interactive sport games!

  3. The portability and ability to just pick it up and play or explore with… Great to get new people or family to try out without being tethered to a computer(thought with the link cable or VD you could use it for PCVR as well)

  4. honestly is the future vr oculus company thanks you so much for bring us oculus i adore it can work with it and most importantly to me is i can show it via Facebook to other countries and people bringing to they about oculus and Facebook keeping together family members via Facebook in oculus and comunicate via ALTVR , AT the same time showing it to the world is not only about games is about the future and the future is oculus , hope one day schools, worker and more can use it to help the world and expand our horizon. thanks oculus.

  5. I am a student studying software and medical, and am working with several others to build training software for training, primarily for medical training but we’re hoping to expand to other professions. Since the pandemic, we have not been able to meet up and work together, which has slowed development since only 1 of us has a VR setup to test on. So getting a second headset would really help.

On the flip side, VR gaming sounds very cool the fact that it’s wireless could open up a lot more range of motion for us to experiment with.

  6. I love the oculus quest 2, and I was gonna save up for one after buying an Xbox series x (which seems to be becoming hard). I am in love with how good the specs are for it. I would use it to play Population One, and oculus exclusives, afterwards buying a link cable and playing it on pc.

  7. Everything about the Oculus Quest 2 is AMAZING! I especially love its portability and being a stand alone device.
I am a younger senior and have never experienced VR in my life; so, I would very much love to see a variety of what VR has to offer for all generations. I also want to share this VR experience with my brother, also a senior, especially while following all public health protocols and restrictions during this pandemic.
I played DOOM and QUAKE on Windows 98SE a long time ago, so it would be nice to try the newest versions of those in VR, even some newer games like Call of Duty Black Ops II and Modern Warfare 2, Resident Evil 2, 4 and 5, Assassin’s Creed II, Tomb Raider, Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2, just to name a few.
Viewing some science fiction and action movies would be an awesome bonus!
Most of all, I truly want see this world, the Earth, in VR, from various landscapes to the national museums or historic sites of different countries, and VR through Google Earth and Google Street View.
This is an amazing contest with an even more awesome prize! Good Luck to ALL!

  8. Best thing about it? Like the Quest 1 only even Questier. It’s like getting an extra bit of Quest in the already awesome Quest

  9. I purchased the quest as a grad present for my grandson.
I would love to surprise my son with the quest 2 for Christmas.
I would imagine he would explore both the movies and the games.

  10. I would enjoy the ability to play unencumbered by wires. Also the games, movies and social options are already great and it’s just the beginning.

  11. Lookimg at some of the titles available this would be an absolute blast. A great device to get me moving after the holiday festivities.

  12. I love that the Quest 2 allows you to play untethered from your PC in a larger space OR connected for enhanced graphics. It’s a great alternative to traditional 2D gaming nights! Would love to be able to play with my gf. I bought my headset from BestBuy and hope to be able to have a friend to play with now!

  13. I love the upgraded resolution and refresh rate from Quest 1, which is a great vr set already. Great games.

  14. My favourite part about the Oculus Rift 2 is that it is wireless and I can’t wait to play games while wearing it to be fully immersed.

  15. I am absolutely thrilled with the Oculus Quest 2!
I have owned a couple other gaming systems in the past which I enjoyed to an extent but would have never considered myself much of a “gamer”. When I tried the Quest for the first time I was blown away! It’s got a fantastic selection of games but what I loved even more was the ability it has to teach me so many things about our Planet & the solar system. I can also learn about other cultures by virtually travelling to other parts of the world to explore and discover! I would love to own the Oculus, it’s so much more than just a gaming system.

  16. love that it can transport you to a whole other world. When you feel trapped by pandemic precautions and just sick of the how every day the world seems a little more insane, it’s an escape to a place where you can feel in control.

I’d use it for gaming and videos equally. The fact that you can hook in earbuds so as not to disturb the family is an added bonus. It seems like nothing I’ve every experienced in my life

  17. Hi im Aj I’ve seen the oculus quest 2 on YouTube multiple times, and by the looks of it, I would much rather have this than any other be headset. Because with the oculus quest 2 I can play without a pc (I don’t have one) and now I can reconnect with my friends over virtual reality. I would be playing games like beat saber, and also Arizona sunshine. Thank you for this great opportunity

  18. Easy and freedom. Own a CV1 and tried the first oculus quest of a friend. From experience the freedom to jump in anywhere anytime is the best, and its wireless. Hope to go back in and play some “VR dnd”.

  19. The idea of being in a new world (wirelessly) would be a god sent during these times of isolation. Since many of us can’t travel, it would be nice to use the app called “Wander” which would allow me to “travel” during these times!

  20. Oculus Quest 2 would be the best gaming system to play Beat Saber and Vrchat and its also cool how its wireless!

  21. I would use the Quest 2 for gaming AND 3D movies on Big Screen since the pixels would be improved! Woot!

  22. I’m a clumsy person when it comes to VR, so the no wires is DEFINITELY attractive to me and I’m planning to use it for gaming!

  23. The Oculus Quest 2 would be perfect for a Christmas gift and would be awesome for spending time with friends when you’re isolating!

  24. I love that the quest 2 is lighter and more powerful that the original quest. I’m also excited about the 90hz refresh rate. I would use the quest for both PC games over Oculus link and native quest games. I may also use it to watch movies or YouTube videos since the screen resolution is even higher.

    • You frequently experience a suspension of disbelief. I know the original and this promises to be awesome for gaming and simulation

  25. Oculus Quest 2 what a monster of a VR headset, would be amazing being immersed into the world of VR and to play beat Saber!!

  26. Love the Oculus Quest 2! VR gaming without a PC sounds like a dream come true! Can’t wait to try Beatsaber

  27. Being able to enjoy live concerts, groundbreaking films, exclusive events, and so much more, including games and virtual connections with family and friends – WOW! What more could you want?

    • I love the flexibility of the Oculus quest 2 in that you can use it with or without a PC. I would love to play beat saber on it and use custom songs!

  28. I love oculus quest 2 because it is one of the cheapest and one of the best VR headsets in the market right now. Quest 2 has 50% more pixels compared to its predecessor and upto 90 hz screen.

I wear glasses and it also supports that!
