With the fall and holiday season for gaming fast approaching, Ubisoft showcased and announced new and upcoming video games in a recent Ubisoft Forward digital event. In an E3-style showcase, we saw exclusive game news and exciting reveals from one of the industry’s biggest game developers.
Among some of the announcements today we learned that fans of the Division franchise have a lot to look forward to. The Division 2 Season 10: Price of Power is launching on September 13 and the free-to-play shooter The Division Heartland is coming to PC, consoles, and cloud in 2022-2023.
And, The Crew 2 Season 6 Episode 2: Dominion Frozen launches on September 14, The new Season introduces ice tracks to The Crew 2 for the first time ever. The nine new events will be available over the course of the episode, and will challenge your precision driving.
Now, let’s take a look at some of the more significant highlights from Ubisoft Forward.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Release Date: 2023

Announced a few days before Ubisoft Forward, a cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage was shown. In this powerful coming of age story, you are swept away to ninth-century Baghdad at the peak of its Golden Age. You take on the role and follow the adventures of Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions. After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization—The Hidden Ones.
As you learn their mysterious rituals and powerful tenets, you hone your unique abilities, discover your true nature, and come to understand a new Creed—one that will change your fate in ways never imagined. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a tribute to the original Assassin’s Creed with iconic features and gameplay that have helped define the franchise in its 15 year history.
Skull and Bones

At Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft revealed two brand new trailers for Skull and Bones. In the first trailer, World Context, we learn the truth behind the second Golden Age of Piracy: The Indian Ocean which was torn between power, riches, and blood, at the mercy of
Fierce fleets traded and exported valuable exotic goods to the West, and in the violent race to control rare resources, pirates showed no mercy. Players will discover that the world of Skull and Bones gives them the opportunity to become one of these legendary Kingpins by sailing dangerous waters, creating secret deals, and building a pirate empire.
In the second trailer, The Ship as a fortress, we got a further look into the key role that ship personalization plays as a key to outsmarting rivals. We learned that a great pirate should look the part to be feared, but also tactically weaponize their ship to sink enemies. In order to be successful, you must master your ship if you want to survive the dangerous storms.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Release Date: October 20, 2022

Genre: Turn based strategy adventure
At Ubisoft Forward, a new teaser video for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope debuted. This new teaser revealed that Rayman will reunite with the Rabbids and star in the game’s upcoming expansion. Rayman will be a new playable character and will join forces with Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario.
The DLC featuring Rayman is available for standalone purchase or as part of the Season Pass, which is included in the Gold Edition. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
In addition, a gameplay video for the game’s main adventure gave us a first look at a new planet and boss. Mario and his friends have to fight to save the planet Terra Flora from the mysterious villain, Cursa. You’ll take down mischievous Rabbid enemies and face off in an epic boss battle against a massive Wiggler, who is enraged and infected by Cursa’s dark influence.
Just Dance 2023

Ubisoft announced that Just Dance 2023, will launch on November 22 on the Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be available on Google Stadia at a later date. This year, Just Dance will offer free content updates on an ongoing basis. Check out some of the new features:
- Online Multiplayer: For the first time you’ll be able to play the full game online with five of your friends with Online Groups no matter what platform they are on.
- New Art Direction and Redesigned User Interface: Just Dance 2023 has a complete new fresh look and feel, immersive 3D worlds and intuitive navigation
• Powerful Recommendation System: The new and improved recommendation system offers you personalized playlists and curated songs.
• Progression and Rewards: You can move up in the ranks in the brand-new progression system. You earn in-game points for each completed dance. These points go towards unlocking new rewards, such as customizing dancer cards. You can also redeem points to receive emote stickers, which can be used to communicate with other
players in Online Groups.
