Capcom recently held their annual Capcom Showcase during Summer Gamefest 2023, where they revealed exciting news and information about their upcoming games. The online event provided updates on both upcoming and recently released titles.

They gave us a sneak peek into the second Open Beta Test of Exoprimal, a game featuring dinosaurs, and also delved deeper into the intriguing mysteries of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, a puzzle-filled adventure and more.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 gameplay details revealed

Hideaki Itsuno, the Director of Dragon’s Dogma 2, provided a detailed overview of the game’s combat, Pawns, and gameplay. It was revealed that the world map in Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be 4 times the size of the original game! And, in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will be able to choose different vocations that will determine your character’s fighting style, such as wielding swords or using magical spells. AI-controlled Pawns, who were in the original Dragon’s Dogma, return and accompany you on your journey.

Additionally, you will be able to form a party of up to four characters, including your own customized Arisen and a personalized main Pawn. Furthermore, you can offer up your main Pawn to other players’ Arisen, allowing them to borrow their skills and knowledge. Finally, Hideaki Itsuno promised that more information about the game will be coming in the weeks and months ahead. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy launch date announced

Objection! Capcom announced that everyone’s favourite attorney will soon be starring in a new game. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This collection includes Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, launching in 2024!

Furthermore, Capcom announced that Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy will feature 7 different languages. These include Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. And, voice recordings will also be provided for these languages. More news about Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is coming soon.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess announced

During the Capcom Showcase, a thrilling new game called Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess was revealed. This game follows in the footsteps of unique games like Okami by offering a blend of strategy and action inspired by Japanese culture.

In this game, you’ll experience the conflict between the world of spirits and mortal humans. The villagers are engaged in a battle to cleanse their sacred mountain, which has been invaded by vile creatures known as the Seethe. These creatures are attracted to the corruption that has spread throughout the villages. To restore purity to the land and banish the Seethe, you will need a guide to help you clear a path as you perform a vital cleansing ritual. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be available on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5.

A new gameplay trailer for Pragmata featuring gameplay footage was showcased

At the Capcom Showcase, a new trailer was revealed for Pragmata, showcasing actual gameplay footage. The trailer provided a glimpse into the game’s futuristic lunar setting and introduced the heroine, Diana. In the video, Diana shared the news that the release window for the game has been delayed.

Finally, the development team expressed gratitude for everyone’s patience as they strive to create the best possible gaming experience. Pragmata is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
