What is so special about a Sonos One

Sonos has been around for a few years now, long enough to have earned its place as a dependable, well crafted, great sounding, wireless Wi-Fi home speaker. Talk to an owner of a Sonos speaker and they will go on and on about the things they love about them. Okay, even many non-owners will do that. I’ve noticed that many, many people have Sonos on their wish-lists: so a contest like this is perfect!

This is the year of voice activation, and the Sonos One has that built right in: ask Alexa anything. That is just one of the fantastic features you’ll enjoy with this speaker.  Here are some more:

  • Room filling sound. CNET called the Sonos One the first smart speaker that “sounds great with music.” (I laughed when I read that the first time! Why else would you want a speaker in your home?)
  • Multi-room compatible: fill your home with synchronized music where the Sonos in the bedroom plays the same music as the Sonos in the living room … the kitchen … the basement….
  • Stereo sound: use 2 Sonos One speakers for great stereo sound.

  13. Was a toss up between the Bose soundlink 10 and the Sonos One. The Bose had a lot of connection issues and dropping sound from devices. I hope the Sonos is a lot better at keeping connections in home.

  19. I have looking for a wireless speaker that i could play along with my guitar with. Right now i just use these Logitech speakers and its so hard to hear the distinct sounds from the guitar in the song makes. I friend of mine has one too and he told me to get it, then i was shopping on Best Buy for a new Blu-ray and i saw this contest, so why not. Thank you.

  26. I’ve never actually seen or heard a Sonos, but I do like the idea of having a great ‘room-filling’ speaker that can easily access my music whenever the mood hits. Being voice activated is important – I don’t need to find my device and scroll through the music to find what I want to hear.

  38. I have sonos playbar and two sonos ones. Sound quality and second to none! I love ❤️ relaxing at home and just play music from spotify. The surround is superb. Set up is too easy and playing music is so easy!!! Home theather sound is realistic. My two sonos ones have stands that makes sound balance and cord clutter free!!! Worth the money. Saving for sonos subwoofer.
