Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  14. Time for Samsung. I love the Frame and art design because I love having art and I have to admit I don’t find TVs that attractive (at least they look better now than they did 20 or 30 years ago!)
    The model that appeals to me is the Samsung 58″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN58Q60TAFXZC) because it adjusts the audio to the content, which hopefully means no more turning the volume up and down between scenes!

  30. Fired up over this contest! Couldn’t have come at a better time. Bought a Sony eight or so years ago and have had no complaints, great television. We’re in the midst of a basement renovation which is why I said this couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve been tasked with finding the TV and I’m valuing the X-Wide Angle as we will have certain seats at a wider viewing angle. I’m also looking forward to seeing the X-Motion Clarity in person as we watch a lot of sports.

    Been looking at a couple of different models, but the X950H is taking the win. Heard a lot of good things about the 950G so I’m sure the H won’t disappoint.

    LG is expanding NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility to the 2020 OLED TVs is for me. I can game as much as a want and feel like I am there right in the mist of the game, not a bystander or spectator, by a true participant. Thrills abound, just thinking of the action.

    LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV Smart TV (65NANO90UNA) would be my choice. The pixels which lead to clarity and not missing anything on the screen, is what I would enjoy. I need to see things clearly and corrective lenses do not always do the trick. A large LG tv, that has many features and such vibrate colours is just one of the many reasons I would choose this model. It also looks looks like it would be a real adventure in exploring all the audio capabilities of this model.

    a) The new technology by this brand that has me most excited about their Premium TVs is their new TRILUMINOS Display, which reproduces more colours than a conventional television, by analyzing and processing the data in every frame to make colours even more natural and precise so your video looks closer than ever to real life.     The amazing and versatile Sero by Samsung is the feature I would enjoy, The ability to use a built in swivel would best suit my photos and other media’s, is my preferred viewing. VIewing from any angle and still being able to see the whole picture for full affect is what I would appreciate.

    Samsung The Frame 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN65LS03TAFXZC) is the one for me. I like large, larger than what I have. the theatre experience as well as everything that I view on it being larger, is best with these older eyes of mine.

Paired with the X1 Processor Familly, I’ m seriously considering putting Sony on my short list of potential future tv purchases (something I haven’t considered since the 2000’s).     The TRILUMINOS Display technology, is what i am interested in. My eyes are not what they use to be and vivid pictures and colours is what would help me enjoy the t.v. experience even more.

  50. For Sony, I’m most excited about the Picture Processor X1™ Ultimate… I don’t have picture quality like that on my current TV. My favourite model would probably be the Sony 85″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV because of the sheer size, and sleek model.
