Not all TVs are created equal. If you’re looking for a new television, one of the first things you will need to consider is the display type you would like to get. From OLED to QLED to Mini-LED, each display type leverages a different technology to produce the best results possible—each with its strengths and weaknesses. For example, while OLED TVs are notorious for producing the deepest black, Mini-LED TVs can’t be outshined in bright rooms.

Some things that might be helpful to keep in mind as you’re looking at your options are: where you will place the television, what type of content you will watch, and how big you would like the display to be. Depending on your answers, you might find that one display type stands out and is better suited for your home theatre than others. 

Should you get an 8K television? 

Another key consideration when shopping for a new television is resolution. Resolution refers to the number of pixels that make up the image. In recent years, 4K TVs have become increasingly popular but the next generation of TVs is already here. 8K TVs such as the Samsung Neo QLED TV we are giving away in this contest boast a resolution of 7680 x 4320 and use four times as many pixels as 4K TVs. On-screen, those numbers translate to even sharper and more detailed images.

However, there’s a but … for now, at least. While 8K TVs are available, most content on streaming platforms is currently either 1080p or 4K, which means that you won’t be able to watch 8K content on your 8K screen. Is it worth getting an 8K TV then? Maybe! An 8K display comes with benefits that may make the scales tip in its favour. For one, 8K TVs can upscale the content you watch to make it as close to 8K as possible so you can enjoy the best image quality possible. Then return here and tell us in a comment below on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that we can check and verify your entry.     As for the new 8K Tv the best feature is “8K resolution bumps up to 7680 by 4320. With 8000 pixels, the picture quality on an 8K is very vivid, ultra-sharp, and tiny detail is enhanced in a way that’s visible to the naked eye.”

  29. My personal favourite is the Samsung 75″ 4K UHD Neo QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN75QN90BAFXZC) – Titan Black. There’s so many things to love about this tv especially that it’s preloaded with a variety of popular apps, including Netflix, Prime, and Disney Plus. You can connect to Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa or use the built-in Bixby voice assistant to operate your Samsung device hands-free. PLUS, it’s got Ultra Viewing Angle giving you a great view of the television screen from wherever you’re sitting.
    After reading the 8K TV Buyer Guide, I love the Voice Control feature meaning you won’t have to pick up a remote. You just have to ask your Google Assistant, Bixby, or Alexa to search through your TV. You can also use your TV as a smart home hub, controlling your other smart home devices with your voice. It’ll also shine in bright or dark rooms too. SO COOL!
