A TV is the perfect gift for any type of gift giver and the Samsung The Frame TV is one of the best to choose. Some people find gifting stressful but it doesn’t need to be. And you don’t have to give the most expensive gift either. And not everyone needs a TV under their tree! However, a TV does look amazing under the tree, and The Frame TV looks incredible everywhere else you put it too. In fact, this is probably the best looking TV ever made! One lucky Canadian who enters this contest will win it and then have to decide: is this going to my new TV or the best gift I have ever given in my life!

Why a Samsung The Frame TV is a great gift

I have experience gifting TVs. It’s not that I am the best gift giver or anything, but I have two moms (mom and mom-in-law) who needed TVs and the timing was right. And I work for Best Buy so I’m aware of the great deals and the most appropriate type of TV to get for the people I love. The prize we are giving away is a great gift, and one that I would consider if I was giving another one away. If it was for my wife, she wouldn’t forgive me if I bought any other TV than The Frame: she fell in love with it the moment she saw it on the wall at our local Best Buy.

I know that the economy is challenging, but there are still people who need a new TV. You can get the most expensive TV and chalk it up to “Funflation” (which we covered in an article on the blog about luxury gifts). Alternative, you can gift the best looking TV that exists (in my wife’s humble opinion) and be considered the most amazing gift giver alive.

What makes The Frame the best looking television?

Unlike other televisions, Samsung The Frame TVs have two features that make them look as televisions, and great as art displays. The first feature is the matte finish of the screen. Other TVs have a reflective glossy finish that light bounces off; it’s fine for regular TV viewing, but not great for looking at static images. The Frame has a matte finish: you don’t see the reflections from light in the room. Instead you can better enjoy the artwork. Samsung has a huge library of art to select from too. The second feature is the choice of bezel finish. Other TVs come with a black outer edge of the TV that can’t be changed. For The Frame, you can modify the outer bezel to make the television look more like a framed work of art with one of several add-on bezel kits.

We sent a Samsung The Frame TV to Shelly for an honest review and she discussed many of its premium features. Firstly, it’s has a great display screen. The 55 inch display of the prize for this contest is big enough for any room and has the amazing 4K resolution—that is the most popular in 2023. Also, the QLED technology is bright and durable for an amazing picture that will last for many years to come. And with a 120Hz refresh rate you can play the most demanding games without any problems. Secondly, it’s thin and light and easy to place on a stand or mount on a wall. You’ll likely want to mount it on a wall for the impressive artwork that you’ll display whenever your not watching movies, or sports, or playing video games. The last feature I wanted to call out is related: the optional bezel kits make this TV a true work of art. The winner of this contest will have their choice of white or teak.

How to be the best gift giver

I have my own strategy for gift giving that tends to align with tips provided by more self-appointed gifting experts. My strategy begins with listening. I have my ear tuned to the needs of people who I might be inclined to buy gifts for in the future. Some needs are too critical to wait though: they might buy it for themselves. So my first tip is “listen well” and the second tip is “be decisive”—gifting is not a time for second guessing. “What if they don’t like it,” you ask. They will or at least they likely won’t tell you if they don’t. Win-win either way. But to be safe, and this is my third tip, gift more than one thing. Even if the higher priced of the two is an amazing TV: everyone will want a Samsung The Frame TV. I would still give something else as well. For example, my daughter’s birthday is coming up this week and I got her something perfect and useful. For the second part of her gift I made my amazing puff pastry and froze it … it’s a gift she’s unlikely to get from anyone else … anyone else! And it’s very personal since she loves my baking and this will allow her to replicate my croissants at home (the frozen pastry keeps for about three months).

My last tip is this: if you can, get a really fantastic gift for someone once in their lives. Not twice, they’ll take it for granted. Just once. That great gift might be the amazing Samsung The Frame TV, or perhaps it’s a trip to an exotic location. But if you are able and can gift something unique and luxurious than do it—you’ll never regret it and they’ll never forget it. But first enter this contest … you might just be giving a wonderful TV to yourself if you win.

How to enter

  1. In a comment below, tell us these three things: 1. what’s the most fantastic gift you have ever received (not the brand, just the general type of item, like a refrigerator or a set of winter tires), 2. what’s the most fantastic gift you have given (not the brand, just the general type of item, like a trip or a pair of nice shoes), and 3. who in your life (besides yourself) would be absolutely blown away if they received a Samsung The Frame TV as a gift (first name only)?
  2. Social post: For one additional entry, create a public post on a social media channel sharing with your friends and followers that you are entering a Best Buy blog contest for a chance to win a Samsung The Frame TV. Include the hashtag #FrameTVBestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include any picture from this contest page. Then return here and tell us in a comment below on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that we can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Thread, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly draw one winner from all eligible entries to receive a new Samsung The Frame 55″ 4K TV plus their choice of either a white or teak bezel kit.

This contest runs from Nov 1 to Nov 13th.

Remember you can enter in two different ways as mentioned above. Tell your friends about The Frame TV and how it’s absolutely beautiful when in use and when not in use. Tell them that it would be a dream come true to win one and if they enter, then win, then gift this TV to you, you would invite them over to admire it on your wall all the time.
