Roland FP-10 KeyboardHoliday music is in the air, and many people will be creating their own using a Roland instrument. Roland keyboards and synths are used by professsional, amateur, and beginner musicians around the globe. You probably didn’t even know you could buy them at Best Buy. You can! And someone will win a brand new Roland FP-10 88 Key Weighted Action Digital Piano in this contest—just in time to play Jingle Bells with all in your social bubble, or on a video chat with the whole family singing along, Brady Bunch style!

Christmas music creates lifelong memories

My best holiday memories involve music. When I was a young lad, my mom would be on the piano all the time. She is a very talented keyboardist and piano teacher, so homemade holiday tunes were a non-stop part of my upbringing. As I grew up, my brothers and I played music together almost every day. Most of my holiday memories, therefore, involve playing holiday songs with my family at home, in church, and many other places.

Many people are creating those musical memories using Roland instruments. Even though I play guitar, I still use Roland tech in the form of Boss effects pedals (Boss is a division of Roland). This contest gives you an opportunity to bring Roland into your home just in time for Christmas!

Roland FP-10 Keyboards are more than just a digital piano

Digital pianos have come a long way, and Roland has been at the forefront of their evolution. The FP-10 is a great example of what you can expect from a premium Roland digital instrument. Piano purists might insist on having an acoustic instrument in their home—and that’s fine. However, many people prefer the consistency, versatility, and portability of a digital instrument: especially one like the FP-10 that very closely approximates the feel and tone of an acoustic.

We sent one of these digital pianos to Nikolai for an honest review. Watch his video and read his review to understand why he really liked this instrument.

Are you ready to gather around this piano with your family social bubble (and/or gather virtually on MS Teams or Zoom) for a holiday singalong? Carefully read the rest of this article for your chance to win.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter once below this article and once below Nikolai’s review of this piano. In a comment, tell us who in your home will get the most use of this piano (first name only) and what holiday song you hope they will play first.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select one winner to receive a new Roland FP-10 88-Key Weighted Action Digital Piano.

This contest runs from Nov 24th until Dec 7th.

Remember, you can only enter once below this article and once below the review article for this piano. However, tell everyone in your family bubble to enter; this will increase your chances of someone you know winning this Roland Keyboard.

  1. Me of course – would be great, while I am home, during these challenging times, as Music soothes the soul and I would love to play Jingle Bells (or try to). Many thanks.

  2. That’s an easy answer… ME! I have always wanted one of these and I would love to play jingle bells on this!

  3. My son Robert would be the person playing “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” on this little gem!
Thank you for the awesome chance at winning this digital piano 🙂 Happy Holidays! Stay safe!

  4. I’d use this. Had a piano and took lessons when I was growing up. Good King Wenceslas was the first piece I ever had to memorize so I think I’d try to play that.

  5. Daniel, our 6 year old son, will be future musician who will be practicing on this keyboard. The song is up to him, but it would likely be one of the Marvel movies theme music pieces.

  6. I would love to have this Roland FP-10 Keyboard digital piano for myself, Marilyn. This would be an awesome way for me to spend the holidays alone, learning how to play a keyboard. I’m certain there are many videos that will help me learn how to play a couple of songs and then I could share with my “Circle of Friends” through social media. Thanks for this opportunity. Merry Christmas!!!

  7. My daughter and son have been learning “Let it Snow” at their piano lessons, this would be so great for them to play on!

  8. My wife Natalie would get most use of the piano and the first song she would play first would be Silent Night.

  9. My hubby Jamie would probably get the most use as he creates his own beats and such on his laptop. He had been asking for a digital piano. First song played would probably be jingle bells, by me, as I love piano.

  10. Daniel would love this because he likes to copy what I do, in this case playing the piano. He would love to learn Oh holy Night and Joy to the World.

  11. I would play this the most in my house as currently I am the only piano player. Hopefully when my son Zakari is old enough he will also learn to play as well! The first song I would play is O Holy Night.

  12. Sadie would love this. She loves music and would love to learn to play! She loves Jingle Bells so that would probably be the first song that she learns!

    • Our son Gideon would play this first for sure. He loves being loud and making noise. I would.love.him to play something by Bob Marley.

  13. My brother josh would play this! He has been wanting to learn piano all year & this would be the perfect opportunity! We can play together, and I will be able to teach him Blue Christmas by Elvis

  14. Alyvia has just started to learn music notes through playing a recorder in school and she is really very engaged in learning more. Love to win this for her to encourage her in her music journey. Would love to hear her play the Come All Ye Faithful someday.

  15. Félix just mentioned he’d like to have a keyboard, so I think he’d get the most use out of it! I hope he learns to play Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring because it is so beautiful. Thanks for the contest!

  16. My mother will definitely want to test it out when she visits, and play some Beethoven effortlessly. I will get the most use out of it however, and the first holiday song will probably be Chanukah oy Chanukah

  17. Definitely myself or my two year old nephew as no one else plays instruments in my family XD Hopefully the two of us can work on silent night or jingle bells together!

  18. My son, Elio, would probably play it the most, and he would probably not play a Christmas song at all. He would probably play something like Hikaru Nara.

  19. My son who loves to learn by himself musical instruments will get the most of it. There is no particular songs but I know he loves Imagine from John Lennon so I would love to hear him play it on this Roland instrument.

  20. Michell! That’s me. The last time I played piano was like 20 years ago and it would bs nice to have one once again. I would definitely be playing We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

  21. I think I would use it the most, but would love for my kids to learn to play. Jingle bells would be the first song.

  22. It would be me- Miranda although i would live to start teaching my daughter to play. I think we would start with jingle bells

  23. My 9 year old Ainsley would love one of these! Her older sister is moving out soon & she loves playing her sisters digital piano.
Guaranteed she would play Silent Night for the first song played on it.

  24. My daughter Kait would play it – she would likely play a dark waltz or something of her liking rather than a Holiday song. We have an old piano, but it is used and the keys were damaged by a bird so they cut my daughter’s fingers… If her playing a Holiday song helps us win…I could poke at her until she plays Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (dark version).
