Roland FP-10 KeyboardHoliday music is in the air, and many people will be creating their own using a Roland instrument. Roland keyboards and synths are used by professsional, amateur, and beginner musicians around the globe. You probably didn’t even know you could buy them at Best Buy. You can! And someone will win a brand new Roland FP-10 88 Key Weighted Action Digital Piano in this contest—just in time to play Jingle Bells with all in your social bubble, or on a video chat with the whole family singing along, Brady Bunch style!

Christmas music creates lifelong memories

My best holiday memories involve music. When I was a young lad, my mom would be on the piano all the time. She is a very talented keyboardist and piano teacher, so homemade holiday tunes were a non-stop part of my upbringing. As I grew up, my brothers and I played music together almost every day. Most of my holiday memories, therefore, involve playing holiday songs with my family at home, in church, and many other places.

Many people are creating those musical memories using Roland instruments. Even though I play guitar, I still use Roland tech in the form of Boss effects pedals (Boss is a division of Roland). This contest gives you an opportunity to bring Roland into your home just in time for Christmas!

Roland FP-10 Keyboards are more than just a digital piano

Digital pianos have come a long way, and Roland has been at the forefront of their evolution. The FP-10 is a great example of what you can expect from a premium Roland digital instrument. Piano purists might insist on having an acoustic instrument in their home—and that’s fine. However, many people prefer the consistency, versatility, and portability of a digital instrument: especially one like the FP-10 that very closely approximates the feel and tone of an acoustic.

We sent one of these digital pianos to Nikolai for an honest review. Watch his video and read his review to understand why he really liked this instrument.

Are you ready to gather around this piano with your family social bubble (and/or gather virtually on MS Teams or Zoom) for a holiday singalong? Carefully read the rest of this article for your chance to win.

Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter once below this article and once below Nikolai’s review of this piano. In a comment, tell us who in your home will get the most use of this piano (first name only) and what holiday song you hope they will play first.

  4. This would be for me and I will attempt to play the Bob and Doug version of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Thank you for this opportunity!

  5. My son and I both play the piano so we would get a lot of use out of this. My daughter might even get back into playing the piano.

  6. I would love to get this Roland (Michael) ! I have a digital piano that is so old now and keeps turning off on me during playing. The only time I have to practice is at night and the headphone jack always cuts out when playing. I’d love to get a chance to refresh my instrument and update it with this!

The first songs I would play is anything from the Charlie Brown Christmas Album

  7. My son Chase has had this in his Christmas list for years! We rented one for a month in the spring and he just loved it! He’s 15 do a nice way to help cope with everything! I think the first song he would teach himself is Jingle Bell Rock.

  8. This is my entry for the Roland FP-10 Keyboard contest from Best Buy.

My sister Daniella will get the most use of this piano. I hope she will play Jingle Bells first.

  9. Honestly, the way my kids play the Roland at their grandparents makes us want one at home. Music has been a key part of our lives growing up, and a piano like this will be a great way to teach concepts and get back to playing it!

  10. My son, Rhys has been longing to have one. This would help him learn how to play the piano. I like to hear him play “All I want for Christmas is You.

  11. This would be perfect for my mom, who wants to finally learn the piano! The song would be “It’s a wonderful Christmas time”!

  12. I would be the one playing this super keyboard. It’s been a long time but I would start at the beginning of my Christmas Carol book and play it cover to cover. So I think the first song (alphabetically) would be Away In a Manger. I would love to practice these again to play for my family this Christmas.

  13. My wife would play this keyboard the most, and the song she would play first would be O Holy Night. And I would sing. It would be a great moment to start a parade of great moments. Thanks

  14. I myself would play the the keyboard the most. I’ve been itching to get a keyboard for so long this year. I’d play jingle bells first because everyone in my family really enjoys the sinsf

  15. I’ve always wanted to learn piano, but my wife Merrissa will probably use it the most. I hope she plays Mary’s Boy Child (the Boney M version, of course)

  16. I’ll be the one getting the most out of this, and while it’s not exactly a holiday song I’ll be playing the heck out of Beethoven’s ‘Ode To Joy’ as a tribute to my oldest dearest friend.

  17. I will get great use out of this piano, and the holiday song I would want to play is carol of the bells 🙂 Good luck everyone!
