Roland FP-10 KeyboardHoliday music is in the air, and many people will be creating their own using a Roland instrument. Roland keyboards and synths are used by professsional, amateur, and beginner musicians around the globe. You probably didn’t even know you could buy them at Best Buy. You can! And someone will win a brand new Roland FP-10 88 Key Weighted Action Digital Piano in this contest—just in time to play Jingle Bells with all in your social bubble, or on a video chat with the whole family singing along, Brady Bunch style!

Christmas music creates lifelong memories

My best holiday memories involve music. When I was a young lad, my mom would be on the piano all the time. She is a very talented keyboardist and piano teacher, so homemade holiday tunes were a non-stop part of my upbringing. As I grew up, my brothers and I played music together almost every day. Most of my holiday memories, therefore, involve playing holiday songs with my family at home, in church, and many other places.

Many people are creating those musical memories using Roland instruments. Even though I play guitar, I still use Roland tech in the form of Boss effects pedals (Boss is a division of Roland). This contest gives you an opportunity to bring Roland into your home just in time for Christmas!

Roland FP-10 Keyboards are more than just a digital piano

Digital pianos have come a long way, and Roland has been at the forefront of their evolution. The FP-10 is a great example of what you can expect from a premium Roland digital instrument. Piano purists might insist on having an acoustic instrument in their home—and that’s fine. However, many people prefer the consistency, versatility, and portability of a digital instrument: especially one like the FP-10 that very closely approximates the feel and tone of an acoustic.

We sent one of these digital pianos to Nikolai for an honest review. Watch his video and read his review to understand why he really liked this instrument.

Are you ready to gather around this piano with your family social bubble (and/or gather virtually on MS Teams or Zoom) for a holiday singalong? Carefully read the rest of this article for your chance to win.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter once below this article and once below Nikolai’s review of this piano. In a comment, tell us who in your home will get the most use of this piano (first name only) and what holiday song you hope they will play first.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select one winner to receive a new Roland FP-10 88-Key Weighted Action Digital Piano.

This contest runs from Nov 24th until Dec 7th.

  1. My son would definately get so much use out of this. He has learned how to play a flute through his sister and she can help him with this if he were to win of coarse

  2. My wife Connie would get the most use out of this keyboard. The first holiday song she would play is ‘I want a hippopotamus for Christmas’.

  3. This piano will get the most use from our six year old Alistair. Together with his four year old brother, they just love Jingle Bells.

  4. I will be for my mom, She’s been wanting to have and learn to play piano she only plays it on her iPad app, she always says never to old to learn new things!

  5. I would love this and so would my husband Garth! He is a much better player than I am so I would love it if he would learn Silent Night. Every Christmas Eve we attend church and we close with the lights out and everyone holding candles while singing Silent Night. I cry every time. It won’t happen this year, but it would be so great to be able to recreate it in our own home…

  6. My wife Rhonda would get the most use out of this piano, and I hope she plays Amy Grant’s Christmas song, Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song).

  7. I would have to say that my dad Randy would get the most use out of this piano and the holiday song I hope they will play first would be Silent Night! 😉

  8. I would love to teach my son David how to play piano. I had an upright grand piano but had to give it up when we moved. I play at a grade 10 level and really miss it. I’d probably teach David Jingle Bells first as he’s 2 1\2

  9. My boyfriend Brent would get the most use out of this keyboard. I would love it if he played Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

  10. I would love for our son Brady to win this so he can take music lessons. One thing I wished I knew how to teach him was music, but unfortunately we would both be on the beginner level. This would be a great Christmas gift for us-signing up for lessons together if we won.I would love to learn how to play Silver Bells.

  11. I would definitely get the most play time out of the piano. I don’t specifically remember the music for any Christmas songs, but I’d definitely play songs I remember like The Entertainer, and Fur Elise! I’d also be down to learn some new ones!

  12. Cairine would get the most use out of it but would have to take lessons first. First song would probably be Chopsticks.

  13. I would be the one playing it and would love to play Up On The Housetop! I’ve played it before and it’s such a fun and upbeat Christmas song!

  14. My son Nathan would love this! He has autism and the only thing that calms him down is playing music. The first song would probably be silent night.

  15. My daughter Chantelle would get the most use out of this piano and my first request would be Silent NIght.

  16. My cousin Marcelo would love a keyboard! When we were younger he took mine snd broke it haha but now that he’s a bit older he got the drums and guitar, i think this would be a perfect nostalgic Xmas if he were to get it ! I would have him play the same Christmas song he played when we were kids ( Rudolph the red nose reindeer haha).

  17. My wife Melanie would get the most out of this. She’s always humming a tune; being able to turn it into something even more special would bring such joy.

    Thanks!

  18. I would get the most use of it but my granddaughter Amy would visit more often to play it as well. Here Comes Santa Claus would be a great first tune.
