Beginning to learn how to play music has never been easier thanks to Casio. Casio has a range of keyboards ideal for any level of player. Young beginners love them for the extras like multiple tones and built-in rhythms. Parents love them because they are an inexpensive way to get a child started playing music. On the blog we have been reviewing many new musical instruments including the two Casio keyboards you can have a chance to win if you enter this contest.

This year we can all be making music

One thing that many people have discovered about the year 2020 is that working and schooling from home has left time to learn a new instrument. Children and parents alike have been motivated to discover their inner Mozart. However, this year has also imposed financial uncertainty on many people. That puts people in the situation of wanting a new quality instrument for themselves or for their children, but concerned about spending too much during these challenging times.

I know of what I’m writing about. Last April I decided that I wanted to learn to play piano. I checked at Best Buy and found that Casio had exactly what I was looking for. In fact, they have a range of options, and they can all be ordered online at Best Buy. Search Best Buy’s musical instrument section and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find keyboards for every range of ability at great prices.

  1. I think this would make a great gift for my grandkids because it is light weight and has a dance music mode.

  2. The Casio keyboard is easy to travel with, aka take to kids class if and when needed.

    Speakers are good as well.

  3. Really, really like the portability and full sized keys. Lots of other great features though but these two are at the top for me!

  4. Casio keyboards offer the flexibility to play on the go (battery or adapter) and come will full sized keys that have the full range of rhythm. Definitely appealing!

  5. My daughter would love the Dance Music Mode and the Chordana App makes it easy for her and myself to learn to play the keyboard easily. I love the handle which makes it easier to carry and transport.

  6. I cannot say enough great things about the Casio keyboard! My 12 year old nonverbal Autistic son, loves to express himself through music. The best feature are all of the different tones that it plays. Playing on the Casio keyboard is so much fun!!

  7. I currently have a Casio LK-270. I just started trying to learn piano at the end of last year. I love the different built in systems from the exercises to songs. It has helped my progression. However Id love a keyboard with 88 keys that are weighted as I think I may be holding myself back with finger strength. So far for me being a beginner Casio is the way to go!

  8. I like that Casio makes keyboards with features such as built in rhythms to help beginners learn more easily.

  9. I know I can’t win because this could be considered a negative comment. I teach a beginner keyboard class for senior adults and I am always looking for an affordable keyboard. The Casiotones are a solid keyboard packed with all necessary features, with a reasonable sound, and adequate key ‘feel’ for a non-hammer keyboard. However, I was really happy that Casio came out with the CT-S300, which is Touch Sensitive. For the extra $30, this essential feature really rounded out this nice portable keyboard. Hopefully they would come out soon in White and Red too !

  10. My daughter would enjoy the 200 because of the dance music mode and i like that you can use it in conjunction with the learning software.

  11. The portability of the keyboard. Also because the keyboard is compact it allows for easy fingering of the keys.
