Many gamers I know either love their gaming chair or lament not having a really good one. Gaming is not an activity you can just get up from every half hour to stretch and reset.   1. Some ways that gamers who play for long hours at at a time can stay healthy are to take breaks once in a while, get up and do some stretches, and be sure to drink lots of water (will also help motivate you to take breaks and get up…).

  2. Do some leg and arm exercises to keep muscles from getting stiff. Drink water and eat some healthy food like fruit.

  3. Drinking water, and standing up every now and thne will help the health of gamers during long gaming sessions

  4. If you intend to play for a long stretch of time, I would definitely suggest enforcing upon breaks at regular intervals (i.e. standing up, stretching for 10 mins). Being prone in a singular position for extremely lengthy periods of time would not be good for you in the long run.

  5. The best way is to have water at hand and take frequent stretch breaks to avoid discomfort. Healthy snack around would also be good.

  6. Set a timer or alarm to remind you to get up and stretch and/or walk around for a few minutes pause.

  7. Take breaks and follow the 20:20:20 rule (every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds)

  8. To stay healthy you need to have regular rest periods. Get up to walk around, stretch, have fluids and a snack before going back. Try standing while gaming instead of sitting.

  9. Take breaks to at least look away from the screen, and also use eye drops to keep the old eyeballs moist.

  10. Get up and stretch. Saying that gaming is not an activity that can do this is a ridiculous statement to make. Get better gaming buddies. I like the standup reminder on my watch. It actually helps me at work. Use it if your like me with an office job.

    Sure, a good chair is nice and will help, but you still need to get up and move.

  11. Some ways gamers can try to stay healthy while gaming for long periods of time:

    1) Hydrate – make sure to drink plenty of water
    2) Take frequent breaks (to stretch your legs and to use the bathroom)
    3) Once in a while, try to look at objects at a far distance to “stretch” your eyes

  12. Take time to stand up and move around, even simple things like go get a drink or a healthy snack from the kitchen. Dont stay stuck at your desk all day, your body will eventually start to complain.

  13. Exercising and specifically working your lower back muscles helps with posture tremendously!

  14. I incorporate exercising during loading screens or while im waiting to get revived or back in the game (wz)

  15. Stand up, stretch, and have healthy snacks on hand so that you aren’t mainlining chips and chocolate while you’re gaming!

  16. Gamers need to be mindful of their diet too. Making a meal plan will help make sure you get your nutrient rich foods.

  17. Gamers can take small breaks every hour to get up, walk around, stretch, and focus their eyes on something over 20m away.

  18. Have water and healthy snacks on hand. Take regular breaks. To stretches or other exercise.

  19. Best way is to set a timer on your watch and take a 5-10 minute break once the timer is up. Stretch, grab a drink and just move around a little is what helps me.

  20. It’s important to take breaks – look away from the screen, get up, stretch and grab a glass of water. Otherwise, it’ll be an expensive trip to the chiropractor or rmt.
