What’s it like to combine a Fitbit smartwatch or tracker with a desire for a healthy lifestyle? Perhaps you have a Fitbit and know the answer from personal experience. Perhaps you have always wanted a Fitbit so you could find out for yourself how much a difference a Fitbit will make for you. Perhaps you just read our new article about Fitbit and now you want to give one to your loved ones. This contest is for everyone who want to become more aware of their bodies and their fitness; enter this contest and you might win a new Fitbit Charge 4 fitness tracker with GPS, heart rate monitor, and many other amazing features!

Where should you start if you want to become more healthy

Many people want to live healthier but don’t know how to start. Perhaps you did start but couldn’t stay motivated day in and day out. I’m not going to tell you to get out there and train for a marathon. I will suggest before making a change to your lifestyle, get a proper assessment from your doctor. This is Canada after all and part of the benefits of our healthcare system is we can be proactive without spending a fortune.

And on the topic of being proactive, purchasing a Fitbit is a low-cost proactive way to advance your healthy lifestyle goals. Have you seen gym membership costs lately? Imagine having the benefits of a personalized fitness program right on your wrist. Now also imagine that included with that is a minute by minute record of every activity you do from taking a walk to mowing the lawn. It also records your heart rate! Perhaps the order of operations should be: get a Fitbit, have it record your heart rate for a few days, then visit the doctor and show him that data to help him understand how fit you are before you start exercising!

Stay motivate and stay on track with new features in the Fitbit app

What happens when you wear a Fitbit? Well, at first you might start to take a few extra steps in a day. Then you might set meaningful goals. Incrementally you see progress. It’s not magic; you still must do the work. But you’ll be aware of how much that work is paying off!

New features keep getting added to the Fitbit app too. For example, recently they added Active Zone Minutes which is designed to help you get the 150 minutes of exercise (or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise) each week recommended by the World Health Organization. To get Active Zone Minutes your heart rate needs to go up. How much? Leave that to the Fitbit on your wrist to calculate. It monitors every movement you make, whether it’s a quick vacuuming around the home or a jog around the block. It all adds up and you know how much it’s adding up right in the Fitbit app.

Learn more about Fitbit and the Fitbit app from this recent feature article. You’ll also learn about Fitbit Premium which gives you access to hundreds of workout videos designed to help you get the most from your Fitbit. You can begin your journey to a healthier you by purchasing one for yourself and by entering this contest for a change to win one.

  1. I have an older Fitbit Alta and it still works well but I’d look forward to a newer version. I have fibromyalgia and I find my Fitbit motivates me to push myself a little bit more than I’d do on my own. I love being able to track more than what my current Fitbit allows.

  2. Fitbit charge 4 with all the new features, it does everything! But love the heart rate monitor ❤️

  3. The new one the Fitbit charge 4 the battery life, heart rate monitor and so many other features

  4. The Fitbit Charge 4 is my favourite because it’s a got a good blend of features for everyday use as well as for staying healthy. What sets this one apart is the fact that it has its own GPS!

  5. The Fitbit Charge 4 Fitness Tracker would be my favourite since I usually walk an hour every day but I don’t monitor my heat rate or my daily household activities.

  9. My husband has Fitbit 3.I occasionally borrow it to monitor my own activities.
I would really appreciate my own Fitbit 4, it has all the options would use and more!

  10. I do not have a Fitbit yet, but really need one. The Fitbit Charge 4 would be perfect for me. I need to get more exercise especially walking and need to have my heart rate monitored. I also need sleep patterns monitored so this would be an added bonus for me. Thank you for the opportunity.

  11. I would love the Charge 4 for the built-in GPS (I’m pretty directionally challenged and get lost quite often…).

  12. I have the Fitbit Charge 2 and I really like all the features but the new Fitbit Charge 4 sounds great with the built in GPS.

  13. My favourite Fitbit is the Fitbit Charge 4 because it has a built in GPS, phone notifications, and a long lasting battery.

  14. As for saying which Fitbit I prefer and why I can’t honestly say as I don’t and never have owned one before. However, just recently coming back from an out of town trip to the heart specialist and having an angiogram done as I was having more chest discomfort. The results showed that my previous stent from 2019 has successfully been accepted by my body and not rejected, and unfortunately I have 3 new spots of plaque build up. So maybe now is a good time to get in better shape and maybe, just maybe a Fitbit charge 4 could be the motivation I’m looking for !!

  15. My husband uses Fitbit charge 3 & I would love to win a Fitbit to monitor my activity & sleep levels. Pick me please!!

  16. I currently use and enjoy my Fitbit Charge 3. I like that it keeps me accountable to me and that it tracks a variety of exercises.

  17. I used to have the original Fitbit charge a while back. The Fitbit vera would probably be my favourite, because of the big screen, except I’ve always been fond of the charge series

  20. I had a Charge 2 (I think). I replaced it and wore both of them out! I loved this. It kept me motivated. I tracked my sleep and my monthly changes. I loved this! I wish I had one now as I need a bit of motivation while working from home!

  21. I have never tried a fitbit yet. I quit smoking in Nov, with that comes a few pounds. When the pandemic hit…..many more pounds….these pounds have to go. Fitbit will most certainly motivate me and get me away for this computer and get moving. 🙂

  22. My favourite is the Versa Lite. I don’t have one yet but have been looking at it for a while.

  23. My favourite Fitbit device is the Versa 2 Special Edition (i currently have a Versa) because of both the look and the features.

  24. I would love to win a Fitbit Versa 2 for all its features, including the awesome sleep tracking!

  25. I would just like to stay more active. I’ve always wanted one of these to make life more fun while I move. I do like the gps and monitoring sleep patterns.

  26. I think the Fitbit Charge 4 is perfect for my needs. As a senior I want to keep fit but need to monitor my heart rate so I don’t over do it. Also being able to monitor my sleep patterns is most desirable – not to mention the extended battery life.
