  4. Two things I like about the printer 1. the larger print pictures and 2. ink cartridge refilled with bottle ink. This saves a lot of money and helps the enviornment.

  5. I put a lot of things on power bars and have them turned off when not in use instead of having those transformers wasting power on standby. And I don’t leave things like my computer on all the time – this wasn’t innovative in the past, but now it seems to be as many people leave everything running. I wash dishes using a sponge scrubber using a bit of water instead of filling up the sink. And I compost and reuse whatever I can.

  34. We bring our own containers and purchase as much as we can from bulk food stores. There is no waste

  35. One thing that I do in my home to help the planet is try not to “throw” water down the drain but keep it stored for watering our vegetable gardens and our plants.

  37. Soft plastics and styrofoam aren’t accepted in curbside recycling but they are at my local recycling depot. I set them aside and then drop them off when I’m running other errands to help ensure I recycle the most possible while not making a special trip.

  43. We store the rainwater to water our plants and recycle and compost as much as we can. I like the fact that the Epson ET-8550 is cartridge free and will do borderless photos of up to 13″ x 19″.
