With such a big screen, you can divide your monitor between different windows. You’re able to choose between several preset split screen options which allow you to view multiple applications at once.

And if you’re someone that has a lot of windows open at once, you’ll also love the 5:9 preview option. It shows a preview of your different windows and lets you drag and drop them into the main screen area. Essentially, you can say goodbye to minimizing and maximizing screens ad nauseum.

What’s more, is that if you connect additional monitors, you can control the monitor separately or together, letting you get the best viewing experience for every screen. So no matter whether you’re watching the newest Netflix series, playing Red Dead Redemption 2, or working on a graphic design project, this monitor has the real estate and the features to make the experience of multitasking seamless.

  1. Use it to have two documents up at the same time and be able to copy paste and edit without having to alt tab all the time.

  2. I would like to use this monitor for my work purposes especially related to game engines, film and video editing and gaming. Since LG monitors are well known to have factory color calibrated IPS screens, it would be really great to have this monitor wide color gamut support and test out some features like Dynamic Action Sync and the WQHD resolution of 3840×1600 pixels.

  3. I’d love it for gaming. So would my husband. So would our kids. It’s settled then – it would definitely be used for gaming :^D

  4. Not gonna lie, would use this beast for gaming and enjoy it! But it’d also be handy when multitasking and making photobooks that I do multiple times a year.

  5. With this monitor, I would be able to multi-task like never before! I could run my photography business, my mom’s blog, my personal blog and my own personal stuff with ease and seamless transition!

  6. I would use it when designing for my hobby business but most likely my son would take it over to use playing video games.

  7. It looks like it would be perfect for gamimg. My kids would think I’m a superhero if I won this! Thanks for the opportunity!!

  8. I’m a sole proprietor architect that needs to juggle all aspects of the business: emails, CAD work, accounting, promotion, website, materials and research, etc. I constantly have multiple windows and programs open that I need to flip back and forth between, so an amazing monitor like this would allow me an overall visual that I can easily move between.

  9. I would love to have this monitor! At work (I’m a bookkeeper/accountant) I have 2 24″ monitors, so it makes using Excel very convenient. I can’t afford the same setup at home and use a 15″ laptop at home. With this monitor, I wouldn’t need an extra monitor! It would offer similar screen real estate. I could open different financial statements, work in Excel, and prepare taxes efficiently. I would no longer have to continually minimize or expand programs.

  10. In all honesty I will do none of what you stated above. An ultrawide monitor would only benefit me in widening my view as a gamer, as a casual person to browse the web I would have multiple tabs open but when comparing products or services it’s helpful to pull up all 3 tabs onto different windows to put side by side for comparison rather than switching tabs

    Thanks for this chance!

  12. I’m entering for my son in law who has 3 screens on a large desk for gaming. The LG 38WK95C UltraWide monitor to do in all within 38″ would be a wonderful change to a much needed space in their home. Thanks for the chance.

  13. I posted on here yesterday evening, but I haven’t seen my comment since, so I’ll write it again.

I would love to have this monitor to simultaneously watch videos and surf the web without having to constantly flip between tabs on a single window. It would also be ideal for gaming as it is bigger than my existing TV and almost 16″ larger than my current PC monitor.

    Thank you for the chance!

  14. I’m starting a new blog, so this would help me actually work on it, whilst still keeping track of what’s up on social media.

  15. i sure would love to use this ultra wide monitor by LG to do my studies while scrolling everything YouTube!!

  16. My senior eyes are dimming, so think this amazing 30″ curved monitor will make multi-tasking so much easier!

  17. At work i have two computer screens and I really miss that when working at home, an extra screen would be incredibly helpful working on my genealogy projects

  18. As a grad student I always am researching things and have 10+ tabs open with multiple articles spread around my screen. Currently I’m doing this on a 14″ laptop screen and it’s quite a mess of alt-tabbing to find the relevant information. This monitor would let me keep a lot more open at the same time and work much more efficiently without losing documents to a pile of tabs.

  19. I posted a comment yesterday eve but i don’t see it here, so I am posting again: I am an accountant and would love to use this super monitor for my accounting and bookkeeping tasks. I could spilt the screen into 2 and have my financials done in a flash! thank you so much for this contest!

  20. I would love to win this so we can see our Disney World pictures on a bigger screen as we are using a laptop and cell as our monitor broke down years ago and still works

  21. I do catering and the ability to have multiple spreadsheets, emails and menus all on one screen when preparing quotes would be amazing!

  22. This would be perfect for having four word documents side by side at the same time. Would be great for multitasking.

  23. I’m an industrial designer, so I’m always jumping between various technical drawings when working with CAD software, or between various graphic design software when working in Adobe suite. This monitor would allow me to setup multiple windows and make life a lot simpler!

  24. I would slam my face right up to the screen and experience virtual virtual reality (not actual VR, but a real-life version of VR, you know what I mean?). I’d have that screen filling my vision with amazing clear visuals and block out everything else.

  25. All that screen real estate will make working with multiple applications easy – I can simply snap one to each half of the screen to easily copy and paste content from one to the other. Then when it’s time to relax the huge display will immerse me like no other monitor into games, and it’s 21:9 aspect ratio is the perfect size for watching widescreen films without the black bars at the top and bottom.

  26. This huge monitor would be perfect for viewing my you tube videos while checking my far too many email notifications!

  27. I would love this monitor, as my little laptop is never big enough. I work with a lot of big excelsheets and multiple windows, so this would allow me not to have to flip between windows, making me more productiv
