How many hours of game play, that’s both campaign and multiplayer by the way, would you say you’ve racked up in Halo? Personally, I couldn’t even guess.  ‘Combat Evolved’ truly was, it opened the gaming worlds eyes to what was possible, and changed things in a major way.  Lan parties gave way to real online multiplayer for the console and we haven’t looked back since.  So what do you do after having such a huge impact on our cultures favorite entertainment medium?  Do it again of course!  Enter Destiny, Bungie’s next big thing, and they want to give you a whole bunch of cool gear for pre-ordering (so let them).

A game with a very appropriate name, in two words Project CARS (Community Assisted Racing Simulator) is a project in crowd funding a racing platform that will probably be THE game for the Racing SIM enthusiast.  Boasting more tracks than its competition, and a beefy car roster, Project CARS is an ‘open’ driving experience unlocking everything from the word go (or should I have said ‘drop of the flag’?) allowing racers to choose when, where, and what their racing experience will be, across Career paths, Solo stuff, multiple Motorsports, Online, and Community, this is one garage with a lot of stuff in it.

The long awaited Alien: Isolation drops on October 7th, and with it, the envisioning of a story arc between the first two Alien movies. Alien: Isolation is one tabbed to be more like Ridley Scott’s first Alien film than James Cameron’s sequel. It may arguably have been the best game to come out on the PlayStation 3, getting praise like it being the “Citizen Kane” of video games. It’s high praise, but the Last of Us was a very different and very special game at a time where we were craving something new, and something unique. Nearly 6 years after Sacred 2 blasted onto the scene, the third chapter in this action based RPG series is ready to debut later this summer! Sacred 3 takes you into saving the Heart of Arcania from falling into the hands of the Ashen Empire.
