It’s the most wonderful time of the year for many a sports fan.  Id Software’s 1993 Doom is one of the most influential video games of all time and it just got one hell of an overhaul. The latest game in the series, simply titled Doom, released earlier this month on Friday the 13th. At this point it’s safe to say it won’t have the same impact as the original but it’s certainly going to give fans of the original game one hell of a good time.
