Sony has introduced a new camera into its repertoire with the Alpha A6300, a successor to the A6000 released in 2014. The new model, while trimmed down in size, boasts more under the hood, making it one of the more compelling mirrorless cameras to hit the market.

It felt like E3 came to Toronto at Nintendo’s recent “Summer Celebration and Media Showcase.” Nintendo’s entire E3 show floor line-up was on display—and playable—for media, friends and family to try out. This was the perfect chance to get more hands on time with the incredible games Nintendo has planned for release this fall, and beyond!

 Let the games, begin! No, not those games, I’m talking about the most thrilling, adrenaline-pumping video games that will soon be unveiled at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, a.k.a. E3 2016! Get set for a week of mind-blowing game reveals, action-packed new trailers, updates on your favourite recently released titles, and a glimpse of the future with VR.   With a fresh E3 experience on the horizon and all the new goodness the technology explosion brings us, its probably an ideal time to look back.  E3 has been a longstanding platform for the gaming faithful, it’s also where folks who have had a taste for nerdy and awesome things find out about the interesting media coming down the pipe.  A wonderful hub where the wide eyed hordes whet their appetite for what’s next, and lets just have a look at the sorts of things E3 has already brought us.

In celebration of Star Wars Battlefront, which released this week on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Best Buy Canada hosted a truly extraordinary Jedi vs. Sith duel in downtown Toronto last month as part of the city’s massive public Lightsaber Battle. It was a truly epic showdown between the light and dark sides of the force—come check out what went down!

The other one, the other big ole name in gaming. They had something to prove, quite literally. People were waiting to see what they had to say for themselves, a misstep would have been disastrous; It seems they figured that out. I don’t doubt the wave of social media bile and hate following their last E3 showing had something to do with it. Angry nerds in numbers are pretty good at making themselves heard. At any rate, they had a killer show with a lot of great things to tell you about.
