MEET THE DYSON PURIFYING FANS
There are tons of pollutants in your home that are invisible to human eye. The Dyson purifying fans make them visible by automatically sensing particles and gases, then diagnosing and reporting them in real time to intelligently project cleaner air around the room.
They have efficient filters that are fully sealed and combine an activated carbon filter and a glass HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. There’s a tower version for placement on the floor, or a smaller one for more versatile use, both in white/silver or iron/blue. Each comes with a convenient magnetic remote that can sit on the top for easy storage.
They work with the Dyson Link iOS and Android apps, which can be used to track pollution events indoors and outdoors in your selected city, temperature and humidity, remotely control the fan, see how many hours of filter use are left, and much more. The new purifying fans can be synced using Bluetooth or Wifi and they can also receive over-the-air updates when new features become available.
ULTRA-INTELLIGENT SENSING
Not sure how bad the air is in the room? The Dyson Pure Cool™ purifying fan detects gases and particles, displaying the details in real time on an LCD screen on the front of the machine.
This is accomplished through the processing of input from three sensors.First, lasers measure and detect ultrafine particles. Then, a separate sensor detects Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), like benzene and formaldehyde, which can be present from paint, burning candles, and furniture materials. Finally, the third sensor measures relative humidity and temperature.
CAPTURING MATTER, GASES
More modern homes are better sealed to be more energy efficient, which is great. But that also means pollutants can be kept trapped inside, circulating and potentially compromising the air quality. In fact, indoor air pollution can be up to 5 times worse than outdoor air pollution according to the Environmental Protection Agency.
Two types of filters in the Dyson Pure Cool™ purifying fan work together to capture and remove harmful pollutants from the air. The activated carbon filter removes gases, while the sealed HEPA filters captures 99.97% of ultra-fine particles as small as 0.3 microns. Microscopic allergens and pollutants can include industrial emissions and pollen brought in from the outside, as well as cleaning products, pet dander, scented candles, paint, and cooking fumes from indoors.
You get 60% more HEPA media in the taller and deeper filter, and three-times more activated carbon to absorb gases, odours, domestic fumes, and VOCs
COOL PROJECTIONS
Since the Dyson Pure Cool™ purifying fans are muti-functional, they are indeed fans as well as air purifiers and you can also enjoy blowing air to cool you down during the warmer months. But a draft-free backward airflow mode can also allow the machine to continue purifying while air isn’t being blown directly at you. That means you can use the device to purify your room all year round.
It also oscillates up to 350-degrees, and thanks to Dyson Air Multiplier TechnologyTM you can project and mix purified air around the whole room, at any angle, purifying every crevice and corner. In total, the fan can project up to 290 litres of purified air per second!
