FLY AWAY WITH THE DJI PHANTOM 4 PRO
Are you ready for the latest drone innovations from DJI—the world’s leading developer of high quality video and photography drones? If so, then prepare to meet the DJI Phantom 4 Pro, the newly updated version of DJI’s legendary Phantom 4 drone.
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro comes fully equipped with a 1 inch, 20 megapixel CMOS sensor (capable of capturing 4K video footage at up to 60fps), DJI’s new Lightbridge HD Video Transmission System (providing dual-channel control for long range video transmission), and enhanced battery life (for longer and more productive flying times).
The new DJI Phantom 4 Pro also gives you 5 directions of obstacle sensing (for 4 directions of obstacle avoidance) and a mechanical shutter to ensure crisper and cleaner photos than you’ve ever gotten before. So if you’re a DJI drone enthusiast, now is the time to celebrate!
FEATURING ENHANCED OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro features a multi-directional obstacle avoidance system comprising 4 high-resolution stereo vision sensors (2 at the front and 2 more at the rear) along with infrared sensing systems on both its left and right hand sides.
These sensors allow for 5 directions of obstacle sensing and 4 of obstacle avoidance, meaning you won’t have to worry about flying your drone into a tree, a car, your house, or any other impediment.
You can fly your Phantom 4 Pro with total flight autonomy and complete peace of mind knowing that at the end of your flying session your drone (as well as your neighbourhood) will still be all in one piece.
Fly with confidence and capture dynamic images and footage thanks to the Phantom 4 Pro’s amazing ability to handle itself in tight spaces and always find its way out of a jam. With the Phantom 4 Pro, even a novice pilot will feel like an expert.
LONG RANGE VIDEO TRANSMISSION
The Phantom 4 Pro also features DJI’s new Lightbridge HD Video Transmission System for long range communication between the drone and its controller. This system provides a 7Km (4.3 mile) transmission range for live streaming your video footage, which you can then view in real time on the controller’s own built-in video screen.
Part of the reason for this long range video capability is the fact that the Lightbridge system supports dual transmission frequencies to better resist interference from outside sources. Thus, the Phantom 4 Pro can switch between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz transmission frequencies to ensure the clearest video streaming with every flight.
Add to that the Phantom 4 Pro’s amazing onboard camera, featuring an all new 1 inch, 20 megapixel CMOS sensor that supports H.264 4K video processing at 60fps (or H.265 4K videos at 30fps) with a bitrate of 100Mbps (for either) and you’ve got the perfect photography drone for getting the highest quality video footage imaginable.
AND LONGER FLIGHT TIMES
The fondest wish of every drone enthusiast is longer flight times, and with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro, you’ve got it! The Phantom 4 Pro provides up to 30 minutes of total flight time on every single charge of its battery, meaning you’ll stay airborne long enough to get the shot you want on every occasion.
And part of getting that perfect shot is the ability to capture clean and clear images of objects moving at high speeds (or getting those shots when your drone is flying at a high speed). DJI has you covered here as well with their inclusion on an all new mechanical shutter in the Phantom 4 Pro.
The Pro’s mechanical shutter will help to eliminate the rolling shutter distortion effect—both when you’re shooting fast moving objects and when you’re flying the drone itself at a high rate of speed while shooting. DJI’s new mechanical shutter takes the Phantom 4 Pro’s camera to the next level of quality, which is sure to make you a better photographer.
