Have you often wished that your oven temperature could be controlled through an app just like the temperature in your home? With everything going smart these days, it’s no surprise that Breville has joined in with their cooking appliances. The Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is a high-end 2-in-1 air fryer and oven that can make cooking for family, friends, and any holiday gatherings easier and hassle-free. Keep reading to find out some of its cool features and how you can enter for a chance to win it for your kitchen.
Cook confidently with Autopilot technology
Baking is exciting. I always anticipate the moment I get to open the oven door and look at how my creation turned out. But sometimes the dismay at discovering that your pastry or chicken is unevenly cooked on the inside is … crushing. The Joule makes it easy to avoid that awful feeling with its Autopilot feature.
Autopilot is available through the Joule: Sous Vide by ChefSteps app, which you can connect to the Joule via Wi-Fi. From steak to flan to corn, and much more, the app itself contains video recipes, step-by-step instructions, and tips for you to start cooking your dish of choice. It’s fantastic for amateur cooks because the recipes also include presets or “flight plans” that leave the little details to the smart oven instead of leaving them up to you. For example, if a recipe requires different levels or types of heat, Autopilot will automatically increase or decrease the temperature in the Joule. That means, you won’t have to remember to do it manually. Need to broil your veggies in the oven for the last five minutes of baking? There’s now an app for that.
How does the Joule manage to do all this you ask? The Joule uses a special temperature controller and smart algorithms that work together to ensure that the six quartz heating elements it houses are always delivering precisely measured heat that smoothly transitions to different temperatures at the right time. The technology does all this to ensure that your food is cooked as evenly as possible.

Win Breville’s Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro Contest Rules and Regulations
Sweet potato fries and wings wings wings!!!!!
I would do a chicken
The first thing I would bake if I won this oven would be Aa homemade bacon and cheddar quiche. I have always wanted to try making one but the oven I am currently stuck with is old and finicky on a good day.
The preset that would be the most useful day to day would likely be the slow cook option. On those days when I am working from home I can concentrate on work related tasks knowing that my kids will have a warm meal waiting as soon as they hop off the bus.
I have never baked my own bread and would try it in the Joule with special settings.
Reheat! We don’t use a microwave. This would help us not have to use the oven every day to reheat items.
I’d like to try a small roast for the two of us. The slow cooking setting would be a great way to still enjoy that roast without heating the house up in the summertime.
I would use the air frying function.
Always wanted to try Air Frying, but didn’t want to buy a separate machine. The Air Fry function on the Breville would be awesome.
I’ll do a home made pizza, never made one from scratch.
I don’t think I’ve tried baklava or pickerel cheeks. I could try those in this air fryer 🙂
BAKE is the preset I’d find the most helpful in my day-to-day life. I want to “BAKE’ sugar cookies. This Joule would be ideal!
Sugar Cookies is the food or baked good I would first try making in the Joule that I’ve never tried before. My sister has been making some extremely artful sugar cookies, and I want to try it out. If I won a Joule, that would be a great way to get started.
My adult kids could use it to make me pizza
I would use the Toast setting to make toast. Never had toast before.
The preset I’d find the most helpful in my day-to-day life is the Air-Fry preset. All the cool kids are getting air-fryers. I’d like to include myself in those conversations around the water cooler and chime in about how cool my Joule is.
The food or baked good I would first try making in the Joule that I’ve never tried before is real chicken-cordon-blue. I have bought pre-made frozen ones before, and had mind blowing real ones in restaurants before… SO good in-fact that it is on my death-row last-meal request… You know, in case I ever end up on death-row. Until then, perhaps I will try to make it myself in a Joule, should I be lucky enough to win one.
I guest reheat would be the most useful setting for me.
I would try Air fryer mac and cheese. First time for everything.
A helpful smart setting for me would be the Proof.
Fry a batch of local fresh perch fish with home made fries .
Pizza preset
I wanna try mozzarella filled sweet potato
Some sort of big meaty gravy filled wrap thingy….
The croissants look delicius, would try to replicate.
I would use the air fry preset setting to make homemade samosas for the first time! I’d love to use the dehydrate preset to make crackers as well.
I would try the cookie preset, or bagel preset
Try wings
I would love to try chicken.
I would try making squash
The cookies setting would be super helpful to make the perfect cookies!
I’d try to make some lechon.
Fried chicken !
Pizza would be extremely handy as we are making them all the time but it is hard to get the perfect crust at home.
I would start with calamari.
I would try cooking steak in the Breville Joule Air Fryer Pro. We own the Breville coffee maker and toaster. I appreciate great quality appliances. Thanks for the opportunity!
The presets are all interesting but I think I would use the air fry the most.
For my first pick-I’m going with the sweet potato fries
I would try cooking chicken thighs first
Chicken Wings never made them well in the oven
the bagel preset sounds interesting
Definitely the pizza setting
I would love to try lamb in the airfryer..with lots of herbs and seasoning
The Joule would sense when food ready. Such a great oven.
Despite so many options and I would use a lot of them, favourite will likely become Pizza setting
This would be wonderful. My family each have one, but I don’t. They rave about this product. I would first make homemade fries in it.
I have actually never made scalloped potatoes, so my first time using this oven would have to be that dish.
fries would be my first dish.
I would try the airfry setting first
I would try wings because I love wings but would prefer them without so many calories. I have never owned an airfryer so would love to try wings in one
I’d warm up some Jamaican curry goat..lol
