Autopilot is available through the Joule: Sous Vide by ChefSteps app, which you can connect to the Joule via Wi-Fi. From steak to flan to corn, and much more, the app itself contains video recipes, step-by-step instructions, and tips for you to start cooking your dish of choice. It’s fantastic for amateur cooks because the recipes also include presets or “flight plans” that leave the little details to the smart oven instead of leaving them up to you. For example, if a recipe requires different levels or types of heat, Autopilot will automatically increase or decrease the temperature in the Joule. I can certainly see this being used for chicken wings and fries, but I just found a recipe for mac & cheese balls in the air fryer.

We use our small air fryer everyday. Our great grandson loves chicken and fries, so I would try air fry setting and his favourite dish.

I’ve never dehydrated anything before so I would like to try making dehydrated onion. The Proof setting would be great for making bread because my house is somewhat cold.
