The new year is the perfect time to start a new skincare routine. If you feel like you’ve hit a wall with creams, cleansers, and masks, maybe it’s time to try something brand new to you—like a light therapy mask. Keep reading this post to find out how to enter for a chance to win a Dermabeam Pro Light Therapy Mask to use alongside your regular skincare routine.
20 minutes to light therapy
As far as alternative skin treatments go, light therapy is a really easy one to try. The only thing penetrating your skin is waves of light, making the process gentle and irritant-free. People see mixed results with light therapy, just like with any other skincare technology or treatment, but in general, it’s great for people with fragile or sensitive skin. The epidermis becomes particularly fragile after menopause, under stress, and following acne treatments, making this an excellent skincare tool for many different life stages. If your skin is too sensitive to try new treatments like chemical exfoliators or gua sha, you can try this hands-off light therapy instead.
The Dermabeam Pro, which Rae notes in their review has cute little bear ears and a rechargeable battery, works in 20 minute sessions to gradually improve your skin. It’s lightweight and comes with built-in, protective eye goggles. One great thing about the Dermabeam Pro is that the mask is easy to wipe down and sanitize, so multiple family members with different needs can use it while still keeping the mask nice and clean for the next session.
Which Dermabeam setting is right for you?
There are two light therapy wavelengths that have undergone significant clinical testing: red and blue light. The Dermabeam Pro includes both in all 115 of its medical-grade LEDs, and you can use either or both during your light therapy sessions. Users can cycle though these light settings along with five others using Dermabeam’s touch control.
Red light is the wavelength that’s been studied the most by dermatologists, researchers, and doctors. It’s been investigated for use in treating acne, increasing collagen production, healing soft tissues, encouraging hair growth, and more. Most light therapy masks available on the consumer market are red light therapy masks or, in some cases, red and blue light therapy masks—but not the Dermabeam Pro Light Therapy Mask. This model includes the popular and proven red and blue light settings, plus five others that you can choose to try either now or later, as more research continues to come out.
Those additional wavelengths include green light to reduce oily skin, pink light for anti-ageing, violet light to heal scarring, orange light to reduce redness, and white light to fade hyperpigmentation. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to choose your skincare setting from a buffet of wavelengths every day?

Win a Dermabeam Pro Light Therapy Mask Rules and Regulations
Good luck!
It would be great for my son and wife
I would give this to my daughter for the Red Light Therapy as it would be so beneficial for her acne prone skin.
I like that it sounds like its easy to clean & sanitize the mask.
I would use all the colours of light therapy to see which works best on me, but I would mostly use the red to help acne & increase collogen.
I’d try all the settings to see which suits me best. However from your description I’d probably use the red most frequently for my age related acne & to firm up my facial skin.
J’utiliserais la lumière rose vu mon âge
Red for my zitty skin!
Blue light for acne prone skin!
This sounds like an amazing product!! Personally, due to a medication related incident, my face suffered from many wounds and is now covered with extensive scarring. It breaks my heart when I look in the mirror.
Because of this, I would definitely use red light (to help heal soft tissue damage), violet light (to heal the scarring), and white light (to help with hyperpigmentation). It would be amazing to heal and learn to love my face again!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to apply. Happy New Year to everyone!
In the past year, I have been diagnosed with rosacea at 44 years old, so I would primarily use the orange light feature to start.
I would use the pink light for anti-aging purposes
I would use all of them! Green light to reduce oily skin, pink light for anti-ageing, violet light to heal scarring, orange light to reduce redness, and white light to fade hyperpigmentation, I would happily try them all, but would be most interested in the hyperpigmentation results.
I would use pink light for anti aging and white light for hyper pigmentation!!
I would use the pink light to increase collagen for healthy skin, and occassionally the orange light to help with the redness from rosacea.
Red light to help with the acne
I would use the pink for anti aging.
It sounds like the pink light is the answer for my wrinkles.
Pink light for anti aging would be my pick.
Pink light for anti-aging! Thanks for the opportunity!
Pink light for aging
I would use the pink light for aging. Thanks for the opportunity.
I think i would use red and pink so i will look younger 🙂
I would use both the pink and red for anti aging.
Pink light for aging
I would use the red as it’s been studied the most.
Pink light for sure. I’m 51, but still look good for my age 😉
I would first try the pink to see if it could decrease my wrinkles.
I would love to try out the pink light for anti aging.
I would love to use the pink light for anti-aging.
I would use the white light for hyperpigmentation
green light to reduce oily skin!
I would definitely use the pink light for anti-ageing. Yes, I would!!!
I would use the red light for collagen production and pink light for ani-aging
I really want to try red light on the few pimples that occasionally appear on my face. And I’m interested in the orange light that reduces redness and feel like it will work well on post-acne. Can’t wait to try it!
I would use the pink light to help with aging
White light the most
I would likely use a red wavelength, as the description suggests it’s the most widely suggested for the wider range of applications.
I would def use Pink the most for the anti-aging!!
red light to help with acne
At my age, in my early 50’s, I still struggle with oily skin and breakouts. I love that the Dermabeam Pro Light Therapy Mask gives you three options for treating your oily or acne-prone skin. Its green light reduces sebum, its blue light eliminates bacteria that causes acne and the violet light helps heal old acne scars. How cool is that? I definitely need this in my life!
Hey Corry. I’m in my early 30s and still get breakouts as well. I literally use 3 different cleansers! I left a comment too…fingers crossed, right? If you get selected, I hope it helps with your acne! Happy New Year. ☆
I’d use pink light for anti-ageing the most because i need it
I would use the green light most often to help reduce my very oily skin.
Would use red to prevent skin aging.
I would use the red for aging!
I’d use the red as it seams to have the most benefits 🙂 Thanks!
I’d like red for my acne!
I’d use green for my super oily skin, followed by red! Although they all seem like theyd be super beneficial to me!
I would first try the pink to see if it could decrease my wrinkles.
I would use red. I need to clear the breakouts on my forehead
I believe the blue light would help me with my acne prone skin!
Pink light for anti aging. Need all the help I can get. 🙂
I really like that all of the different settings are included in the same device, so you can share. 😉
