Dermabeam Pro 14

The new year is the perfect time to start a new skincare routine. If you feel like you’ve hit a wall with creams, cleansers, and masks, maybe it’s time to try something brand new to youā€”like a light therapy mask. Keep reading this post to find out how to enter for a chance to win a Dermabeam Pro Light Therapy Mask to use alongside your regular skincare routine.

20 minutes to light therapyĀ

As far as alternative skin treatments go, light therapy is a really easy one to try. The only thing penetrating your skin is waves of light, making the process gentle and irritant-free. People see mixed results with light therapy, just like with any other skincare technology or treatment, but in general, it’s great for people with fragile or sensitive skin. The epidermis becomes particularly fragile after menopause, under stress, and following acne treatments, making this an excellent skincare tool for many different life stages. If your skin is too sensitive to try new treatments like chemical exfoliators or gua sha, you can try this hands-off light therapy instead.

The Dermabeam Pro, which Rae notes in their review has cute little bear ears and a rechargeable battery, works in 20 minute sessions to gradually improve your skin. It’s lightweight and comes with built-in, protective eye goggles. One great thing about the Dermabeam Pro is that the mask is easy to wipe down and sanitize, so multiple family members with different needs can use it while still keeping the mask nice and clean for the next session.

Which Dermabeam setting is right for you?

Dermabeam Pro giveaway contestThere are two light therapy wavelengths that have undergone significant clinical testing: red and blue light. The Dermabeam Pro includes both in all 115 of its medical-grade LEDs, and you can use either or both during your light therapy sessions. Users can cycle though these light settings along with five others using Dermabeam’s touch control.

Red light is the wavelength that’s been studied the most by dermatologists, researchers, and doctors. It’s been investigated for use in treating acne, increasing collagen production, healing soft tissues, encouraging hair growth, and more. Most light therapy masks available on the consumer market are red light therapy masks or, in some cases, red and blue light therapy masksā€”but not the Dermabeam Pro Light Therapy Mask. This model includes the popular and proven red and blue light settings, plus five others that you can choose to try either now or later, as more research continues to come out.

Those additional wavelengths include green light to reduce oily skin, pink light for anti-ageing, violet light to heal scarring, orange light to reduce redness, and white light to fade hyperpigmentation. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to choose your skincare setting from a buffet of wavelengths every day?

  1. I have been looking into Red Light Therapy for awhile now This one seems reasonably priced, I would love to try it to improve my aging sagging skin

  2. Hello, I would like to use Pink and white, now that Iā€™m getting older, hyperpigmentation is becoming more noticeable. Anything that helps with wrinkles thatā€™s non invasive, Iā€™m your girl for testing your mask. Thank you

  3. Stepping in my 30s, the main and foremost concern and the thing I need to address is aging, fine lines. So, the pink light seems the most suitable option, however other lights are also useful like red which can be it used for a collagen production for skin like me.

Definitely it would be a wonder to win this beauty.

  4. I would likely use the pink and white lights the most. At 58, I’m starting to worry about dark spots and wrinkling. Using this device with these lights will stem my worry and keep my skin beautiful for many more years!

  5. I would use red light to increase the amount of collagen in my skin, hoping that it makes increases elasticity and it would be helpful with age.

  6. I would love to try all the different colors and wavelengths! Would probably use red the most. …and pink… And probably Violet alot as well….orange and white would definitely be used often too lol

  7. I’ve been wanting one of these to try red light therapy for ages but would be very curious to try the other settings as well. I want to keep my skin looking young and healthy for years to come!

  8. I have been wanting one of these for awhile now, but they are very pricey. They have one at Sephora for $2500 and a cheaper model on Showcase Canada for $15. I would love to try one out and see what all the hype is about. I would really love to know if this works. I would try out all the different settings but I would most likely use the White light to target hyper pigmentation and dark spots, I haven’t really found a product out there that works on my hyperpigmentation and I have been using a lot of different products over the years. So, it would be really great to try this out.

  9. OMG! As a loyal best buy customer! I would use all the coulors of the dermabeam mask, as I would use the pink and red the most for anti-aging and to increase collagen. Violet to heal my childhood chicken pox scar and then blue to help with dryness (very little)

  10. I would use the red light setting to address my aging skin and boost collagen production. My husband suffers from rosacea and would use this as well.

  11. Iā€™m sure I would use them all at one point or another, but I think I would use the pink most often to reduce fine lines and wrinkles!

  12. Red light is the wavelength I would use for increasing collagen production and healing soft tissues, as I in middle age.

  13. I am 60 years of age, with not bad skin, but I have found that anti-aging creams & serums do not work. I cannot afford salon treatments & would like the opportunity to improve my skin.

  14. I would love to use the red light for my acne! I have suffered with acne for pretty much my entire life and it would make such a huge difference in terms of confidence and feeling comfortable in my own skin and a million other things it feels like! <3 šŸ˜€

  15. I would use the red light to treat my acne, heal soft tissue and increase collagen production. I would also use violet light to heal scarring, orange light to reduce redness, and white light to fade hyperpigmentation in combination with the red light.

  16. I would like the violet for Heal scaring caused by Lupus flare-ups over the years. I would use them all but VIOLET would be 1st choice

  17. I would like the Red light to increase collagen production. I have read that Collagen provides skin with more elasticity and it would be helpful with age.
