Logitech gaming accessories can make your gaming more immersive and more fun. They create technology like gaming mice and controllers that deliver smoother game play, faster more accurate reactions, and closer to real-life engagement in a game. Which one is more fun to use to play F1 2020, a game deemed to by our gaming editor Jon Scarr to be, “one of the most authentic sports racing simulations out on the market”: a standard game controller … a mouse … or the new Logitech G923 True Force Racing Wheel? Enter this contest and you might win one and find out for yourself.

Video game accessories can be the difference between winning and losing

Playing to win and playing “just for fun” can be the same thing with the right tools for the game. It’s just logical that if you use the same gaming tech for every game, you are likely not going to be the best at all of them. This is especially true when you consider racing games. Real cars are not driven with sticks and buttons for a reason: steering wheels and pedals are more efficient, allow you to react more smoothly and more accurately, and you won’t get in as many accidents.

Video game racing is more immersive and feels more real with Logitech racing wheels

Logitech keeps improving their gaming accessories. This is most evident in the newest racing wheel the G923. Not only does the wheel feel great in your hands, and the pedals respond like you’d expect for accelereting, braking, and shifting, but with the introduction of TRUEFORCE technology you now have a more accurate feel for the road than ever before.

The movie “Ford versus Ferrari” did a great job of describing the feeling of racing, epitomized by repeating the line, “There’s a point at 7,000 RPMs where everything fades. The machine becomes weightless. It disappears.” A video game like F1 2020, or Project Cars 3 can partially capture the feeling of racing with great audio and visuals. However, you won’t get a feeling of oneness with the car and surroundings without being able to feel the drive. TRUEFORCE is a new technology that game creators are starting to add to their new racing games. Built into the G923, TRUEFORCE lets you feel the bumps and contours of the road, the shimmy in the front end at top speeds, and the splatter of gravel when the car in front of you spins out of control. So with the Logitech G923 racing wheel, you will have the newest tech to get the most from the newest games!

Racing games and the technology to play them have never been this realistic. Enter this contest and if you win the Logitech G923 your racing ability will take leaps forward—and you’ll never look back.

Currently have the Logitech G29 and have been reading about the new trueforce force feedback and am hearing great things and sounds like a great upgrade.

  14. Pc!
I would definitely start playing dirt rally 2.0 again, it was fun but it was just too challenging with a controller. I’ve tried racing games on a friend’s wheel and it was great!
I love how it makes you feel more there it makes the games much more exhilarating and fun!

  15. 1:PC
    2:Forza Motorsports 7 and horizon 4
3: using a hacked PS2 wheel and a cobbled together USB interface.. force feedback would be nice.

  16. PC, iRacing

Best part about this prize is getting a wheel and pedals set up. Since alot of places are out of stock!

  17. PC
BeamNG since forcefeedback is so much nicer when your crashing

  20. I would connect it to my PS.

I would definitely want to play Forza Horizon 4 first!

I love the fact that I would actually feel like I’m driving – so much fun!

    • I would connect it to my Play,Station,
      I would play Gran Turismo.
There is simply nothing like driving on the famous Nordschleife, positioning the wheels exactly where they are supposed to be, using the exact level of acceleration or breaking, feeling every bump on the road, with an accuracy and level of detail only a steering wheel and pedals can provide.

  21. 1. PS4 (& PC)

    2. Gran Turismo Sport, Gran Turismo 7 (Also Dirt Rally 2.0, Project Cars 2 and Assetto Corsa Competizione on PC

    3. Id love the more realistic feel on console AND PC, but most of all to replace my Logitech G27 which doesn’t work with my PS4 (or PS5) and has left me without a working wheel for GT Sport and soon enough GT7

  22. PS4
    Gran Turismo Sport
I’ve always loved Logitech steering wheels. They’re the perfect sweet spot between price and quality and are always well supported in most racing games!

  23. 1. Xbox
    2. Forza Horizon 4
    3. So I can actually get a true simulation experience without spending thousands of dollars

  24. Xbox one
    All of my forza games.
I have another racing wheel which I won’t name that’s trash. I can’t use it. I’ve always loved a good racing wheel. I really only use my Xbox for forza. This would just make me use it more.

  25. 1. PC. I’d love to be able to race again in VR, as I’ve just bought a headset and I’ve never experienced VR before.

    2. Asset to Corsa and City Driving Simulator! I don’t have a driver’s license and would love to learn.

    3. I’ve always liked the Logitech series wheels for their many buttons and overall robustness. I had to sell my G27 a year ago to cover debt, and I’ve missed it ever since.

  26. 1. PLAYSTATION 4
    2. Project Cars and Gran Turismo
    3. This prize will help anyone actually feel how a racing game is meant to be played. Racing games always feel like something is missing without a racing wheel. The DualShock4’s joysticks never makes you feel like you’re driving. So, this prize will help someone feel immersed in a racing game.

  27. PC

    Forza Horizon 4

The driving experience is terrible on a keyboard… It’s just so much better on an actual wheel

  28. Thanks for the great contest! I would be plugging into my PS4, playing Gran Turismo Sport. I have always been a dual shock player so this would give me the chance to compare times. Does it provide a penalty force field? Haha

  29. PC … Forza Horizon 4 … The realism of the force feedback coupled with the responsiveness and technology in the machine, gives virtually no lag between inputs. One epic ride!
