Best Buy gives away amazing prizes every year in June to celebrate gaming during the week of E3. This years gaming event promises to be huge! As always, E3 will present the hottest new games from the biggest players in the industry. Also expect to see a lot from both Xbox and PlayStation since both have new consoles in 2017. To help you celebrate Best Buy will be giving away amazing Xbox One prizes, and PlayStation prizes, and many, many games.

Best Buy will be at E3 and you can follow our coverage on Twitter, and Instagram. We will also have extensive coverage on the blog: Best Buy Gaming Editor Paul Hunter will be at the show submitting stories, photos and videos from the conference floor.

This should be a very exciting E3. I know I can’t wait to hear more about Microsoft’s Project Scorpio and especially 4K gaming! Many people are dying to hear about updates to their favourite games. Enter this contest and you may win a new console to play that game on.

Here are some of the prizes you can win:

Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles: the newest consoles so you can play the newest games. Place it in your movie room to take advantage of the many other options these provide for all of your entertainment needs.

Each console will come with a great selection of the best games recently released: What good is a new console if you don’t have new games. Also everyone has their favourite games and game genres, so one or two games are simply inadequate! Each console will come with a minimum of seven games. You should have no problem getting into at least a couple of them and perhaps even discover a new favourite!

And we know gamers pick favourites. That’s why we are including one entry method that encourages you to share your favourite games with everyone else.

Leave a comment below this article telling us which game that is available right now at Bestbuy.ca is your favourite and why, and include the link to that game (on the Best Buy online site) in the comment section below this article.

What you can Win

There will be 4 prize bundles offered on 4 different days. Two bundle will each be worth approximately $900 and will contain one Xbox One S console and a game package. The other two prize bundles will each be worth approximately $1000 and include one PS4 Pro and a game package. The complete prize list is shown below in the Rules and Regulations. We will choose one winner from all eligible entries on each of the 4 draw days.

The contest will run from June 5th until June 8th .  

Remember that you can enter right here on the blog. Be sure to tell your friends and family to enter as well. If they are not into gaming, then they can keep the console to play movies and give the games to you! Win win!

  13. I’ve been playing Mass Effect Andromeda on Xbox One and PS4, both of which I pre-ordered from Bestbuy.ca. My favorite version is the deluxe edition I bought for Playstation 4, http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/mass-effect-andromeda-deluxe-edition-ps4/10534576.aspx

    The story is like all Mass Effect games, addictive, thrilling and it makes me laugh at times. This game has insane graphics and I just love my pyjack (alien monkey). The vehicle you get to drive in this game is so much fun, 4 wheel drive and 6 wheel drive transmission! I spend hours just driving around each planet looking for hidden treasure. The crafting of weapons and armor is awesome as well, you even get to name your crafted item like my “Zoey’s Black Widow of First Contact and Premature Misfires”, I really love this game!

  28. Tough call I would have to say my favourite game at the moment and last few years has been Destiny. More hours than I’ll admit to here but the game keeps drawing me back in on a regular badis and is a blast with a great community. And I have destiny 2 collectors edition preordered thankfully got in before bestbuy sold out 🙂

  31. My favourite game on the site is Fallout 4. I’ve been a diehard fan of the Fallout series since day one, I have collected bobbleheads and any extra game merchandise that I could get my hands on. I’m so drawn to the freedom that comes with open-world games because I feel like I’m in a completely different world, one where survival is the key and where there’s a post-apocolyptic wasteland lies ahead of you to explore. It’s a real nice change from my ordinary life, it just makes me feel at ease playing Fallout.

  46. My favourite game of all time would be Kingdom Hearts series, specifically Kingdom Hearts 2. I owned the original release on PS2 and fell in love with the games characters and their quest to stop Organization 13. This game taught me a lot about friendship and included different Disney universes throughout their story. Overall, this is a great game and would highly recommend it to anyone. I just wish I had a PS4 to relive my Chain of Memories (pun intended).
