Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter up to four (4) times in four different places:

  1. In one comment below, tell us which Sony device you would love to receive for the holidays this year and how it would make your life merrier. Go to the Sony Holiday Gift ideas page on bestbuy.ca and browse your favourite categories (for example, Cameras & Camcorders) for inspiration! 
  2. For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Sony prize from the Best Buy Blog; Sony Contest Best Buy Canadainclude the hashtag #SONYBestBuyContest, so we can find your post, tag Sony, and include a picture of the blog contest like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.

In total you can enter four times: once with a comment below telling us which Sony tech you would like to get this holiday season, and three times with a comment below telling us on which social media channels you posted about the contest using the hashtag #SONYBestBuyContest.

  31. I would love the “Sony reveals the amazing new A7 IV camera”. This would be so amazing for Christmas. The last Sony camera I bought was when I retired 20 years ago and I got so much use of it all year at weddings, Christmas and many other special moments. It has done its’ job and just doesn’t work well anymore. A new camera like this one would make my year the best, especially at Christmas this year. My mom is 97 and I will spend Boxing Day with her and many of my siblings. There were 16 of us, 9 girls and 7 boys, but 3 boys have passed with 13 remaining and at least 7 of us will be able to spend Christmas with mom and again a new camera would be amazing. Mom will be 98 in March and hopes to live to 100 at least.

I’d love to win the Sony 75″ BRAVIA XR Google TV, I think it would make my Christmas merrier because when Santa comes down the chimney I’d invite him to watch the greatest Christmas movie of all time, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and then after that the second greatest Christmas movie of all time, Die Hard 2. By then Christmas night will be over and he’ll have forgotten to deliver all the presents to everyone else in the world so he’ll give them all to me. I’ll have like 800,000 furbies!
