Sanus makes a huge range of TV mounts and bases including the Best Buy exclusive swivel base we are giving away in this contest. If you have a TV at home sitting on it the tiny legs that it came with, then you might want to consider the safer, more versatile option of a Sanus mount. Read about some of their features, then enter for a chance to win a Sanus Swiveling TV base from this contest.

Sanus products are made for every home

We all have a TV and most of these are sitting on a desk of some kind supported by the legs that came with it. And that setup works okay. However, it can be better. In my home, I have a TV, and it’s sitting on the legs it came with. But the new soundbar I bought is pushed out in front, with barely enough room to stay put. I’m often worried that the cat will knock it off on one if its jaunts.

Our options are to wall mount that television or to put it on a more versatile stand. Sanus has products for both of these scenarios. Wall mounting has its pros and cons. On the plus side, a wall-mounted TV is raise above the furniture, can be tilted and swiveled as needed, and with some of the newest TVs, can look like artwork when not in use. It is also the safest way to protect your family and your television: it can’t fall if it’s fixed to the wall. On the down side, you will need to have a strong supporting wall to mount it on, and you’ll need to put holes in that wall for the mounting brackets—something many rental homes will not allow. And if you have a soundbar, it too will have to be mounted nearby.

Sanus Swiveling TV Base offers many of the benefits of a TV mount

When you can’t or simply don’t want to mount a TV on a wall, the swiveling base is a great alternative. It allows you to raise the TV off the furniture using a secure stand, to realize some of the benefits of a TV mount. For example, you can easily turn the TV to one side or the other when needed. You can also easily fit many soundbars beneath the TV—as shown in the picture above.

A while back I sent one of these to Erin Lawrence for an honest review. Read her review to understand more about the Sanus TV base. For example, Erin discusses the weight and size limits; you will want to make sure to only use TVs that comply with those restrictions. Return to the blog to enter this contest. I’m sure most people will find that this product will be perfect for one of the TVs in their home.

  1. I don’t have room for my sound bar, so the Sanus Swivel TV Base for 32″ – 60″ TVs would be perfect for my 40″ TV!

  2. Our TV is 42 inch and the Sanus Advanced 32″ – 55″ Full Motion TV Wall Mount would be suited for us!
