  4. I would like to be able to move the TV around for different angles and to help with the glare from the lights and sun.

  8. Mounting the TV on the wall would allow us to reconfigure the furniture differently and still be able to view the tv from many angles

  10. Safety for my children and adding that clean look to a room. With 3 kids and a smaller place we need to utilize all the space we have.

  13. As technology getting more advance and TV getting thinner over time, TV is longer a piece of appliance standing on the floor or on cabinet. It is now a piece of art frame embedded to a plane wall. While it provides daily entertainment to whole family, it can also be a piece of art device displaying family photos, videos and even a wall paper at quiet time. A good and functional wall mount is definitely a must.

  14. the main reason for hoping to win the Kanto PS300 Full Motion TV Wall Mount is to save space in our small cabin. I also like the ability for it to tilt and turn making it possible to view the tv from the living room, kitchen, and dining area. this would be soooo cool!!

  20. Well I would use it to mount a television that turns into artwork then when the tv is off you’re not staring at a big black screen.

  25. Opportunity to mount a TV at a higher height and angled downward for viewers to be able to look up at it, but it’s not in sight lines when you don’t want to watch.

Safer, yes…..but I’d also like to give this to my Dad so he can mount his TV in his office to the wall instead of the “sketchy” setup he has now which is scarily having the TV being just held back from the wall by bunjy cords I think above him and his computers 🙂 Not the best idea…but it’s working (for now) This would be soooo much better.   38. Peoples living spaces are shrinking so floor space is a commodity. With Smart TV’s allowing you to wirelessly access your entertainment there is no need for giant tv cabinets anymore. A wall mount makes it nicer and cleaner.

  40. Installing a fireplace, this would be a great asset over the fireplace that I can turn tilt any positions to watch telivision.

  43. I would love to win this for my mom, her 1 cat is about 12 lbs and her flat screen television sits on her bedroom dresser across from the bed. This cat leaps from the bed on to the television , it is about a 4-5 foot jump and the television is very unsteady, it is a 50 or 55 inch older TV and it now has 1 claw mark on the screen and she cant afford to replace it. Closing the bedroom door does not work because this cat can always get the door open , anyways ty sorry for the long story and gl everyone

  44. For me it will be keeping it out of reach of the kids. I am looking to buy a mount to put my new TV up above the stand I bought. It will make the TV sit further back and higher up so little hands can’t touch it. I have it secured to the wall so it won’t fall on them but it is still safer if they can’t move it at all.

  46. Wall mounts are essential with little toddlers running around the house and touching everything! It eliminates hand prints on the TV screen and reduces blue light exposure for our little ones. On top of all of that, the aesthetics and versatility of moving the TV in various directions are just a bonus.

  48. So that you wouldn’t have to keep the TV on the table where cats can tip it over or destroy it somehow 😀

  50. The ability to tilt and turn the tv is pretty much the only reason to use a wall mount. As for the statistics about children being killed by a tv falling on them, it was a true danger with the big CRTs that could weigh up to 200 lbs, but I seriously doubt those published numbers with today’s flat screens.
