Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challenges—I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell us which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

Good Luck!

  1. Since I love Glitz, The Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid is my favourite because of the working vibrant LED light!!! R2-D2 has always been one of my favourite characters.Spectacular!

  2. My favorite to win would easily be the Sphero Star Wars R2D2 app-enabled droid, as nothing would make me feel like a big kid than pretending to be Luke with my thrusty droid next to me, watching the Star Wars trilogy of films.

  3. My favourite is the Propel Star Wars Speeder Bike Battling Quadcopter Drone because it has 3 speed settings, is quipped with an altitude stabilization mode, and has working battle cannons that will let me battle up to 12 other Star Wars quadcopters, in case I need to.

  4. LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT is my favorite because my 6-year old nephew wants to be an “inventor” when he grows up. This would make the perfect Christmas gift!

  5. Huge star wars fans! We love the Sphero BB8 and R2D2 because they are our favourite characters in the films! These are our absolute favourites because these little guys are alot more than toys… they are basically mini robots! Its soooo cool that with the robot we could actually become like the characters in the movies because they look and act very real!

  6. The Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid is my favourite because of the working vibrant LED lights An integrated speaker lets you hear R2’s iconic beeps. R2-D2 has always been one of my favourite characters.

  7. The littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit is my fave because my grandson loves building Lego so he would love this and he also loves Star Wars.

  8. SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID is my favourite. Besides the cool look, it has authentic movements, so it moves just like in the movie. Very interactive droid.

  9. V-tech Star Wars storm trooper watch would be a cool watch to win because it is a watch that does everything and is Star Wars too!

  10. VTECH STAR WARS STRMTROOPER SMRTWTCH, because what wouldnt be cooler than having a watch that does everything

  11. The Lenovo VR (Though it’s really AR) looks really cool, and I’d love to try it out, but I expect it would loose it’s appeal for me eventually, so I would have to go with the X Wing Drone. I’d be happy to have either of them, but if I had to choose, that’s the way it would go down.

  12. PROPEL SW SPEEDER BIKE DRONE CLR ED looks good, but I think I like the classic UB TECH STORMTROOPER best. Anything stormtrooper-related is a fav.

  13. By far, the Speeder Bike Drone.

I was 10 when I saw ROTJ on the big screen. It was my first Star Wars cinema experience, and I still remember the feel of the seats, the sticky floor, and the impossibly *amazing* speeder bike scenes on Endor. Nothing like the speeder bike chase scenes had been filmed to that point in movie history, and I walked out with a feeling of joy and amazement. For Christmas, I was gifted an Imperial Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike, and I cherished them for years.

Stupidly, strangely, that memory still brings a tear (or two) to my eye.

  14. I like the Lenovo Jedi Challenges the best because it allows you to pretend to be right in the action. It allows the imagination to really take over and pretend you are there.

  15. The littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit is my fave because my son loves building Lego so he would love this and he also loves Star Wars.

  16. My Favourite is the Little Bits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit . This is my favourite because it wil be ideal as a gift for my grandson as he is always interested in anything to do with inventing.

  17. I think my family would be the most excited to try the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES toy becasue who doesn’t want to be a Jedi?! My boys are seven and six years old and they have been having epic lightsaber duels with each other for years. We have lots of videos and photos of them in cosplay- so cute it could melt a heart, even on Hoth! They live and breathe Star Wars and would love everything in this package!

  18. UB TECH STORMTROOPER is my favorite. It can keep you company and keep you laughing. I love that it patrols your house, amazing.

  19. The Lenovo Jedi Challenges VR headset is my favourite. This is the closest I’ll get to being an actuala jedi; wielding a lightsaber to defeat the empire without the need of midichlorians. The force is strong with me!!!

  20. SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID, I love the colour scheme on this toy and the idea of controlling a droid with your phone is amazing.

  21. The Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon would be the perfect instrument to show the padawan (son) that he has a ways to go to beat the master (father).

  22. The BB8 app enabled Droid.
My son loves everything BB8 and this little guy is so cool. He wants to have his own BB8.

  23. Huge Star Wars fans at our house! My favourite is the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon because everything in our house turns into a lightsaber! My kids would go crazy for this!

  24. I would go with the Star Wars BB-8 Interactive droid, reason being, it would be super cool to communicate with it just like how it’s done in the films.

  25. I have two Star Wars fans drooling over my shoulder at the quadcopter drone and the stormtrooper robot… but the drone wins, the robot looks a bit creepy.
