Create the right mood for your day to day

Good lighting can create the right ambience. In my experience, I find that the type of lighting around me has an effect in the way I do some of my day to day activities. Working nine to five in a dull light, for example, can cause me headache. Reading in a soft warm light is a likely invitation for me to doze off. Lighting usually does the trick in the way I set up a conducive space for whatever I do. For me, there are lighting tones and temperatures that are ideal for working and others for relaxing.

Different parts of the house may require different lighting tone and temperature. Cool white or blue tones are great for work. Replicating the daylight they set the mood for better productivity, so they’re good for home office and kitchen. Soft warm light promotes relaxation and sleep which is good for living rooms and bedrooms.
