Could your home use another security camera? Perhaps you don’t have any yet, so then the answer might definitely be YES! Even if you have a few, could you find a place to put another one? Enter this contest and you might win a fantastic new smart home camera from ezviz. Your home would then be on its way to becoming more secure in minutes.

How many cameras do you want around your home? My answer to this question is probably 6—and I am half-way there. I have one on my carport looking down the driveway, one by my front door and one by my back door. But that is not enough for me. I’d like one so I can see my garden shed, and one overlooking my vegetable stand. Both of these are not visible from my home so cameras would ensure that I can keep an eye on them no matter if I am home, or at work or wherever.

I also don’t have any inside my home; my wife is not too keen on cameras in the house. There are many good reasons to have one in the house (for example, to watch the pets when you’re not home) but she prefers to keep the cameras outside. I think her “no cameras in the house” outlook might change if I bought the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator with its 3 cameras inside so you can see the food without opening the door, and see what’s missing while shopping. Of course that is a whole different type of camera—extremely cool though! 1. 6 is a good number. To monitor the 4 sides of the house and the 2 entrances. I would ask for 7 so I have 2 at the front entrance where most people enter so they can not hide their face. Thank you

  2. Probably 4-8. Need to secure front door, garage door, backyard, as well as alleyway down the side of house 🙂

  3. A minimum of five cameras would be needed in my house because we have had some burglars break into some houses in my neighbourhood recently. Two cameras in the front of the house at the front door, two cameras in the back patio and the garage, and one camera for the side of home.

  4. We live in a bungalow style complex, so three cameras would be just right to monitor the comings and goings of unidentified persons who may be looking for an “opportunity” to take advantage of our belongings!

  5. I think 4 would be 5 would be perfect: 2 for the driveway, 2 for the front of the house, and 1 in the back. Total coverage right there.

  6. When one lives next to a drug lab that the police refuse to bust and say that the only way they will is if neighbours have audio and video evidence. Having a security system is, therefore, a must.

  7. I would like two on the inside and four on the outside – minimum to cover all entrances and the rear back alley. There has been a bit of a crime wave in my neighbourhood – so cameras would definitely bring some piece of mind.

  8. I’d like to have about 7 cameras to see what’s going on all around inside and outside of my home. 4 outdoors to cover the front, sides and back of my house. 3 indoors to cover the entrance ways and upstairs.

  9. I would like to have at least 4 cameras outside, one facing up the front walkway, one down the driveway, one out the back door and one for the veggie garden. I mostly want them as we’ve got some crazy neighbours that trespass.

  10. I would like to have 4 cameras as a minimum – monitor the front door, back door, driveway, and garden shed. Thanks.

  11. I would like to have 3 cameras outside my home to monitor the front and back and the stairwell, as well as 2-3 inside my home for my dogs and cat – see what they’re doing!

  12. At least 6 Cameras needed, for my front door, back door, back fence line, side yard, car port and drive way.

  13. Security of the home and garage is important. It won’t keep thieves out but with cameras the police would have a better chance of catching them.

  14. 8 cameras so that I can monitor around my home, gazebo, shed, garage and water front docks —and that would include monitoring my chalet that is located some 100 km away !”

  15. 6 cameras so that I can monitor around my home, garden shed, and watch my pets—and that would be a minimum!”

  16. I would like a minimum of three cameras. One for the front door, one for the back door and another for the driveway since someone tried to steal the tires off my car.

  17. Ideally I would have five cameras. One for each of the three door areas, one in the backyard garden area and one to monitor the tree line at the edge of the property. We have small amounts of theft and vandalism, and cameras would be great.

  18. I would need a minimum of three cameras. One for the front door, another for the driveway & One for the side of my house to see what gets into my recycables and compost bin. We have bears around us and would love to catch one on camera.

  19. I would like 5 cameras outside to monitor the front of my house, the porch, the side, the backyard and the garden shed. Two inside of the house – one in the back mudroom and the other in the entrance.

  20. I would like 8 cameras, front, back and both sides of the house so the outside of my house is properly monitored, along with one for my backyard including some for the inside of the house too, so I can see what is going on in various rooms from the comfort of my home office!

  21. I would need 4 cameras tp monitor my property. People keep stealing my mail and im sure this would he detour that

  22. I would like 2 security camera’s, one at the front of the house and one leading to our backyard. Most break ins happen in our area happen from the backyard patio door.

  23. I would simply like a camera by the front door, back door, and shed. The reason why is because there has been an increase in break-ins. I just moved from a house with a security system to one without one.

  24. I’d love at least 3 cameras for our front door, back door and our driveway. Especially the driveway with people breaking into cars lately.
