On the final day at NAMM, I took a chance to walk around hall A and let the studio geek in me let it all hang out. If you followed my web series last year on Plug-in then you already realize that I love to share my knowledge of recording studio equipment and essentials. So let me share what I found in this area at NAMM:
Universal Audio
I have a UAD Satellite with a nice assortment of plugins in my studio, but I have to admit, that I’ve been keeping tabs on some of the offerings they’ve been coming out with in the past few years. The UA booth had all the latest goodies out on display:
UA Apollo Rack-mount interfaces
A rack of some of the real versions of gear that UA models
Steven Slate Digital
A clean-shaven Steven Slate demonstrating the Raven MXT system
Apogee
Apogee Symphony I/O systems
API
Avid
Avid S6 Mixing Console
I can still dream…
