Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select 6 winners. One will receive a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, 2 will review Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim,  and 3 will receive a Philips Shaver 6000.

This contest runs from May 1st to May 17th.

Remember you can only enter once. However, you probably know someone else who could use a few more minutes of “me time” and would love a chance to win a Philips prize so share this contest with them.

  1. On a regular day, I spend about a half hour on myself and that is generally enough unless I am going somewhere special and then I may take about an hour to get ready.

  2. Longest part of my routine after showering would be brushing my teeth so let’s say about 5 to 6 minutes total. Probably should spend a little more time

  3. I spend about 10 minutes on myself. I spend more on the weekends when my spouse is around to watch the kids!

  4. I spend about 15-20 minutes a day on my personal hygiene and it works well for me! Just enough time to get things done without wasting too much time.

  5. It depends if I am going to the office so, for that it would be 40 min , if not 15 minutes. Probably enough time

  6. It depends. I spend about 30-40 minutes on myself everyday. But I spend up to an hour on myself if I am going shopping, meeting friends or have appointments .

  7. Hmmm… Let’s see. I think spend about an hour on myself every single day. I must admit that I think it is a bit too much. I must strive for better efficiency. Thus, winning the products in this Philips personal care tools prize package would certainly help me cut down on overdoing the daily tasks of caring for myself! Thanks Best Buy for the chance!

  8. How many minutes on average in a given day do I spend on yourself? Now that’s a good question. I’m saying roughly half an hour. And do I think this is enough, too little, or too much? That’s an even better question. I think this is not nearly enough!

  9. I’m doing good brushing my teeth and getting quick shower, so maybe an hour a day. Seems I’m always on the good. Although with social distancing and staying home more, I have more time as of late.

  10. I’d say about 15 minutes a day. probably enough but not according to my wife hahahah

    • Probably around 15 mins that includes a shower and some grooming… I think it is sufficient xD

  11. My “me time” is usually at 20. But if I need some trimmings or shaving my body, that goes up to 40 mins. I try to avoid getting cuts or chicken skin, that’s why I don’t rush this things. Exfoliating is a must before shaving it with a razor.

  12. I spend just enough time, but it has been a challenge tyo get to this spot. I grew up with many siblings and one bathroom so dilly-dallying is not possible. Now as an adult I cherish the time and rarely rush my ablutions!

  13. When you work 12 hour shifts, are gone from home 15 hours a day/night your self care routine is quick. Trust me. On a good day I might have makeup on AND brushed my hair instead of just pulling it back.

  14. I spend about 30 minutes with shower, grooming and WASHING HANDS!!! This seems to be enough on a daily basis.

  15. I try to spend at least an hour on myself every day but I don’t always get it, and I don’t think it’s necessarily enough anyways

  16. I spend about 15 minutes on grooming (eg. teeth, hair removal) and another 10 on hair. This seems appropriate unless I apply makeup and plan special events, which might involve curling hair etc. It is probably not enough, but if I have more time, I’d do more.

  17. I spend 25 minutes or so on myself, not nearly enough in my opinion, lol. Would be a great package to win!

  18. 5, if I am lucky enough to wake up and enjoy some of my coffee before my boys wake up. Not nearly enough

  19. I spend, maybe, about 15 minutes twice a day on personal grooming. I am a no-nonsense kind of gal, who wears minimal makeup and I definitely could and should spend more time on myself. Thank you for the great giveaway.

  20. What with isolation I probably only spend about 10-15 min a day and that includes a shower. I shave maybe once every 10 days or so at this point. Some new kit would be nice.

  21. Gosh – I spoil myself with 30 minutes in morning and the same at night. Skin care takes time as does oral hygiene.

  22. I am careless I admit – I throw myself together in 5. I do the more necessary things at night when I take 15.

  23. I spend about 30 minutes on myself since the quarantine. My son’s birthday is May 22nd and he would really appreciate this as a gift from me (from you). Thanks for the chance.

  24. Pre-Covid if I had 10 minutes that was good, now I have time and take it so On average I spend 30 minutes
