Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select 6 winners. One will receive a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, 2 will review Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim,  and 3 will receive a Philips Shaver 6000.

This contest runs from May 1st to May 17th.

Remember you can only enter once. However, you probably know someone else who could use a few more minutes of “me time” and would love a chance to win a Philips prize so share this contest with them.

  1. I probably spend an hour on me. This includes my bubble bath. I think it’s a good amount of me time.

  2. The days I shave about 35 minutes otherwise about just under 10 and that’s more than suitable for me

  3. I spend maybe 45 minutes a day if I am lucky on myself. I think it’s not enough! We need to take care of ourselves in order to function properly in society. I think it is very important! As a female in her 20’s, it’s time to refocus and just quiet your mind.

  4. I spend very little time on myself especially now that we have a puppy in the house! Less than 45 minutes a day. Love the idea of pampering myself a bit more!

  5. I would have to say about 30-45 minutes a day. Is that enough? Probably, but I wouldn’t complain if I got a few extra minutes for self-care.

  6. I probably spend any where from an hour to an hour an a half each day, with my walking out on my wonderful trails an then coming home a doing my exercise with my weights. Love that time to myself each day.

  7. I spend all day on Me. Waking up, brushing teeth, drinking tea, eating breaky, Netflix(tm) playing the guitar, more flix. a bike ride, lunch, plan dinner, It ‘s about the right amount of time,

  8. If I include my workout time, I spend about an hour and a half – which which is the perfect amount of time

  9. On average, I spend around an hour on myself a day. This number should be higher. I was working to focus more on myself before COVID-19. This has put a bit of a fork in my plans as more people are always home. However, I intend to spend more time on myself not only exercising, but working on a personal finance class as well.

  10. Including a shower, I probably spend 25 minutes on myself… definitely not enough, but our baby is demanding! Hahaha.

  11. My self care time is pretty low…hygiene time is about 15 minutes of shower and shave, and sanity time…that just isn’t a factor right now unfortunately…

  12. I usually take 15 to 20 minutes, on certain days it’s even less, which is no way near to a proper time. When you follow your wife & university-aged daughter in the morning, time is of importance, especially when the two ladies of the house begin to demand extra bathroom time. What can dear-old dad do except go with the flow. They rule the roost.

  13. During the week I probably spend less time on myself due to work and family obligations. Likely 15 to 20 minutes. On the weekend there is a bit more time so I tend to spend about half hour or longer. I think it’s important to spend time on yourself, I likely do not give myself enough time to focus on me!

  14. we have a 6 month old so if im lucky to catch a work break while she naps, then Ill have some quiet time, but not much these days!

  15. Probably about 15mins… I am not high maintenance so I do what makes me feel good. Not going out anyway these days.

  16. I spend about 30min for myself each day – and I would say it’s not enough to get the balance I’d like!

  17. I take any where from 20 to 30 mins in the am being an early childhood educator I don’t fuss much. Nighttime about the same

  18. I spend about 30 mins a day including shower, hair, makeup. Some days I need a little more me time.

  19. I spend about half an hour a day strictly on myself and I know that is definitely not enough these days, but everyone is home and stressed so Mom to the rescue.

  20. I spend about 1/2 on myself..maybe a little more if the shower is long. I think I could use more ‘me’ time

  21. at my age, I don’t need a lot of time, I can shower, shave, do my hair and brush me teeth and be out the door in 20 minutes.

  22. Roughly 25 mins. If I could shave that time down a bit, that would be excellent.
