Logitech Litra Glow Streaming Light

Logitech has just released the perfect gift for all of us who participate in online videos: the Logitech Litra Glow Streaming Light. This really is for everyone: for him, for her, for them. Everyone who works from home, does school from home, or has online meetings with others who are working from home. It’s a brilliant yet simple addition to your work station that brightens your look in just the right way so you appear at your best. You’ll want to enter this contest for a chance to win one; you likely also want to order one even before we announce the contest winners to be sure to have one by Valentine’s Day.

Logitech computer accessories make perfect Valentine’s gift

Some Valentine’s gifts are traditionally reserved for either males or females but not both. Consider flowers: more women than men will get some on February 14 (my wife sent a fruit bouquet to me at the office one year and that was awesome!). Similarly for jewelry: we have a contest in progress for a gold pendant prize and most of the entries so far say they want the prize to gift to a woman. Personally, I can’t think of many gifts that are equally appropriate for myself as they would be for my wife. For the most part we like different types of gifts. And that’s okay.

However, when I told her that Logitech was sending me some of their new Litra Glow Streaming lights to give away, and she saw the picture above, her reaction was immediate: “I want one!”

I want one too! This is the kind of tech we can all get behind … or in front of. My wife would have one mounted on her monitor and I would have one mounted on my monitor every day. My work as an Editor for Best Buy involves many online meetings each day using Microsoft Teams. My wife’s work as a teacher involves daily online zoom classes and recorded YouTube lectures that her students view on their own time. And we work alongside each other, in a bright room (when it’s sunny outside), in a dark room when it’s overcast. This light would allow us to control how warm or cool the light is and how bright it is conveniently as needed.

Valentine’s Day is about showing as much as telling someone you love them

Some people are okay with exchanging cards or perhaps just a pleasant smile to show their love on V Day. Not me! I like giving gifts that are meaningful and useful. True story: the first gift I gave to my wife (one month after we started dating) was a Logitech keyboard folio for her iPad. She used it every day for years and loved it. It may be part of the reason she agreed to marry me six months later (haha).

I’m not suggesting that you can “seal the deal” by getting them a Logitech light … but I bet it won’t hurt! It it unique; it is very new tech: you can only pre-order it at the moment since it arrives at Best Buy on February 7th. Your special valentine will get to be one of the first people in Canada to have one—now that’s showing true love!

How to enter

Entering is easy but you can enter only once. In a comment below, tell us the first name of your valentine and why you think this is the perfect Valentines gift for that special person in your life.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw two winners from all eligible entries. Each winner will receive a Logitech Litra Glow Streaming Light.

This contest runs from Jan 26th until Feb 8th.

Remember you can only enter once in a comment below. However, you likely have many work colleagues, people who you see regularly in meetings, who would also benefit from better lighting when online. They may also be Valentine’s Day Gift challenged, unsure what they will get for their valentine this year. Help them out and tell them to enter this contest!
