Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 immerses you into an all-out battle where for the first time in franchise history, zombies have conquered Suburbia and plants are on the attack. Go on the offensive as the plants in all-new modes including the 24-player Herbal Assault mode, or rally the zombies together and defend against the plants in the 4-player co-op mode, Graveyard Ops. 

Coming this March is Ubisoft’s next Tom Clancy universe game, set in a post pandemic New York City. You will have to face escaped prisoners, a militia mad with power, rioters and flamethrower wielding cleaners bent on burning out the disease that has ravaged the city. From developer Nihon Falcom comes The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, the latest entry in acclaimed Trails franchise localized for western audiences. Available for PS Vita and PlayStation 3, Trails of Cold Steel is set on the same continent as the fan-favorite Trails in the Sky, and lets you further explore Erebonia’s vast lands and deep inner political conflicts. If you love JRPGs, this is a game you won’t want to miss!

The legendary fighting franchise that set the world on fire returns with Street Fighter V! Powered by Unreal Engine 4, witness stunning visuals that depict the next generation of fighters in unprecedented detail. With 16 playable characters at launch, cross platform play and a slew of new features this looks to be one of best Street Fighter games to date.

From the humble beginnings of joysticks, d-pads and buttons, to todays motion controllers, touch screens and soon virtual reality, we continue to look for the ultimate control over our games. As far as console gaming goes, Microsoft’s Xbox One Elite Controller offers the most customization and style. However, all those bells and whistles come at a steep price, and we are here to find out if it’s worth it.

To celebrate the launch of Fire Emblem Fates, Nintendo recently held a hugely successful preview event in downtown Toronto at the historic St. James Cathedral. The theme was “Choose Your Path” and gave eager fans a chance to play the two versions of the game—Birthright and Conquest—to help them decide on their preferred path. While there, I had the rare opportunity to interview Chiko Bird from Nintendo’s Treehouse to learn what gamers can expect from these hugely anticipated games.
