 Bethesda opened their E3 2016 press conference in a huge way with the reveal of Quake Champions, the next entry in their arena-style first-person shooter franchise, and a game most of us probably didn’t expect was coming. That wasn’t all the new game announcements though, as Bethesda also showed up Skyrim Special Edition, and the much hope for return of Prey. 

 Today at E3 2016, Bethesda announced continued DLC support for three of their biggest recently released video games, Fallout 4, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. It’s great to see Bethesda supporting their games and the strong communities they have. Come check out all the details!

 To celebrate the upcoming launch of Kirby: Planet Robobot on Nintendo 3DS, the titular pink puff superstar made an in-person appearance this past weekend at the Ontario Science Centre, much to the delight of children and families in attendance.  This past Sunday, Cineplex and WorldGaming’s Street Fighter V national tournament culminated with the Canadian Finals held in their flagship Scotiabank Theatre in downtown Toronto. Top eSports gamers from from across the country competed in an epic showdown in front of a live, supercharged audience of enthusiastic gamers cheering on their favourites. The matches were intense and the air was electric—eSports are the future, and the future has arrived!

 The summer months are rapidly approaching, and while that typically coincides with a slowdown in game releases, June is anything but.
