My Team 2.0: deepening the management experience

The “My Team” mode undergoes a significant transformation this season. You’ll now manage both drivers, allowing for strategic decisions on driver development and race participation. “Owner Perks” have also been introduced, enabling team owners to specialize in aerodynamics, corporate affairs or pit crew efficiency. The Fan Rating system reflects your team’s popularity, influencing sponsorship deals and driver interest.  Running your team from an adjustable and ever-evolving Team HQ adds yet another layer of depth that lets you feel like a true F1 team principal. In F1 25, you’ll have more flexibility than ever to steer your team in the right direction.

Driver career mode: The road to becoming a legend

F1 25 expands the classic Driver Career mode with several exciting new twists designed to immerse you deeper into the world of Formula 1. Gone are the days when you simply raced to the finish line. Now, your career journey is richly interwoven with narrative and real-world inspiration. Let’s take a look at some of the new changes:

Meet legendary drivers and charting your course in F1 25

One of the game’s standout features is the option to let the AI recruit Driver Icons. Imagine sharing the track with legends such as Michael Schumacher in a modern Ferrari or Ayrton Senna behind the wheel of a contemporary McLaren—all while carving your legacy as a Driver Icon. This integration not only pays homage to the sport’s greats but also creates unique, dynamic on-track encounters that blur the lines between simulation and history.

F1 25 introduces the eleventh team

For the first time, F1 25 allows you to add an 11th team to the grid in Driver Career. You can now race as either Konnersport—a seasoned name with a storied past—or as the APXGP team, inspired by the upcoming Apple Original Film F1. This addition offers entirely new career possibilities, creating a fresh narrative that lets players experience life as a driver on a uniquely expanded grid.

Braking Point 3: Supercharged story mode in F1 25

The legacy of the Konnersport team takes center stage in Braking Point 3. The story mode that promises high-stakes drama and heart-pounding racing action. Here, the narrative is as intense as the races themselves. Let’s take a look at some of the changes in store for this season:

A team in turmoil

In this chapter, a dramatic event throws the once-prominent Konnersport team into chaos. As the team grapples with internal strife, it falls to you to lead them back into contention for the World Championship. The narrative unfolds with multiple branching scenarios—alternative storylines based on the driver you choose to control. These choices result in varied objectives and endings, ensuring that each playthrough delivers a new experience.

Carrying your legacy across modes

One of the most innovative aspects of Braking Point 3 is how its narrative can now integrate with other game modes. Post-story, you can take the tale of Konnersport with you into both Driver Career and My Team modes, ensuring that the impact of your decisions resonates throughout your entire F1 journey. This convergence of story and simulation helps to add an interesting twist to your Pro Autosport journey.

F1 25 offers new levels of authenticity

F1 25 sets a new benchmark in track presentation and authenticity, thanks to the extensive use of LIDAR scanning technology. This year, five iconic circuits—Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka, and Imola—have been digitally scanned during real-world F1 race weekends. Millions of data points gathered during these events have been used to reconstruct every minute detail of the tracks in F1 25.

Race in reverse with F1 25

Taking authenticity one step further, F1 25 introduces reverse track layouts—a first for official F1 games. Three historic circuits, including Silverstone, Zandvoort, and the Red Bull Ring, now offer a reverse track mode. This isn’t merely about running the track backwards; it involves completely reimagining traditional elements such as grid formations, pit lane entries, start lights, and even marshals’ positions. These adaptations require you to rethink your strategies, making familiar circuits feel new and challenging.

Customization options: New decal editor and beyond

F1 25’s expanded suite of customization features is a significant upgrade over previous iterations. The introduction of a brand-new Decal Editor takes onboard personalization to an entirely new level. Whether designing liveries for your team in My Team mode or fine-tuning your style in F1 World, the Decal Editor gives you control over sponsor decals, driver numbers, fonts, and colour schemes. The ability to move, rotate, and resize sponsor graphics means that every car you design can be as unique as the story you want to tell. These customization enhancements aren’t limited to a single mode—they are active through multiple game modes.

F1 World offers new collaborative modes

The multiplayer aspect of F1 25 introduces innovative collaborative events called Invitationals. In these events, you join forces with friends or other online competitors to achieve specific objectives for exclusive rewards. The updated “Driver of the Day” system recognizes standout performances, such as being the cleanest driver or executing the most overtakes. These features promote teamwork and respectful competition, offering a new community-driven element to F1 25.

Beyond the race: A living, breathing F1 world

F1 25 offers something for everyone, whether you’re a hardcore simulation fan who appreciates the detailed physics engine adjustments or a newcomer attracted by on-track excitement. From graphical to technical upgrades, F1 25 looks poised to deliver a deeply immersive racing experience.
